Getting Started
The first thing you will need to do is make sure you have the BYOND software installed. It is availible at www.byond.com. If you do not already have a key there, you will need to create one, as this will serve as the basis for your Myth account.
Once BYOND is installed, start up Dreamseeker and make sure you are logged on with your key in the dropdown menu. Head to www.games.byond.com/hub/Jmurph/Myth and click CONNECT. This will log you on to the Myth server. If you do not wish to download BYOND, you may connect to MYTH with any telnet compatible client. You will then be prompted for the name of your character. If you do not already have one, you may create a new character.
When you create a new character, you will need to select its name and a password. You will then be taken to the character creation menus where you can select the character's skills and appearance.
Once you have created your character, you will begin play in town. Here you can safely familiarize yourself with the game. You will begin at the church. Locations of interest include the Market Square shops and the inn west of the church. Be sure to ask the innkeeper if he has any quests for you.
