SpydarGrafix³ Logo Coloring HTML
         In this lesson you will learn to add color to your pages. It can be a wonderful asset to a exciting page.

         Let us first start with coding in the Background color. In the <BODY>tag, you would enter all the colors you want on your page. This is an example for your background color to be dusty rose.

<BODY BACKGROUND="#856363">

         Now, we add Text color. After the background color is added, you then add the text color. We will make the text color dodger blue. So you have a dusty rose background with dodger blue text.

<BODY BACKGROUND="#856363" TEXT="#1E90FF">

         Now, for your links either Local, Remote, Bookmark, or Non-Web, we add the LINK color. To do this, it is also added in the <BODY> tag. Now your background is dusty rose, text is dodger blue and link is blue.

<BODY BACKGROUND="#856363" TEXT="#1E90FF" LINK="#0000FF">

         And now, let us add the VLINK color, or viewed link, allowing people to know which link they have already viewed. This is also done in the <BODY> tag. The background is dusty rose, text is dodger blue , link is blue and viewed link is fuchsia.

<BODY BACKGROUND="#856363" TEXT="#1E90FF" LINK="#0000FF" VLINK="#FF00FF">

This is what you page would look like.
Your background is dusty rose.
Your text color is dodger blue
Your links are blue.
Your viewed links are fuchsia.

You can also color only a paragraph or just a certain word by using your colors in this way:

<FONT COLOR="#FF00FF">What I want colored</FONT>

Whatever text that you want colored surround with the <FONT> and </FONT> tags as shown above.

Now you are ready to set your page up with all you want to do in it.
