Welcome to my
Free GNU software page
This page is under permanent reconstruction, since I frequently upload new
programs and new versions of already present programs, so always come back!
If you want to be notified about changes on this page, please just send me
a brief
email
stating that.
This page consists of three parts:
- The
Unix section
contains source code for the gnu c++ compiler on Unix and largely compatible
operating systems, e.g. FreeBSD, Linux and Digital UNIX.
- The
(MS-)Dos section
contains source code for the Borland Pascal 7.0 compiler as well as
precompiled shareware.
- And the
HTML/Java(Script) section,
with useful and/or interesting HTML pages.
All the source code on these pages is subject to the GNU general public
license in order to ensure that the maximal number of people can make the
maximal use of it - without having to pay for it.
The basic purpose of the
GNU general public license
is, to provide free access to the
source code (!) of programs to everyone and at the same time prevent
(as would be possible, if the code was not subject to any license at all),
that people other than the author can simply claim the code and make money
with it by licensing it to their own name and charging for it.
The only "payment" I ask for, is that you take the time now and then to
email me some feedback: Do you like the program(s) ? How frequently do you
use it ? Do you have any suggestions for improvements ?
Some small remnants of my software are still at my
homepage at the Technical University of Berlin,
from where some of these programs used to be available earlier.
Soon I will move these rests here, too.
