As a Software Engineer, developed three major projects for NovaSprint and its clients. Extensively used Visual Basic 5.0, web tools and Oracle 7.1, as well as ODBC-RDO methods to accomplish data connection. Following is the brief description of couple of projects I was extensively involved in.
Organizational Capacity Model for Citibank, Singapore (March 1998 - Dec 1998)
Lead a team of 9 members in the development of an Intranet-based application that allows updating new master data through different Master Maintenance routines. Also allows analysis and forecasting of the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) values in terms of manpower requirement. This information may be accessed from a number of regions, countries, divisions and various levels corresponding to various Cost Centers and calculation logic/methodology. The project comprises primarily of four modules, namely Organizational Modeling, Operations Modeling, Premises Modeling, and Seniority Modeling. These modules are used for analyzing FTE on services provided, as well as cost centers. Reports can then be viewed for the given selection criteria.

Travel Expense Management System for United Overseas Bank, Singapore (Nov'97-Dec'97)
This system keeps track of the Expenses of all members of the bank concerned, in terms of Air ticket, Cash, Travellers cheques. Imports the initial Invoices from the ASCII file. Exports the necessary data to an ASCII file which could be used in other applications. Involves numerous numbers of Invoice and Management Reports developed using Crystal Reports v4.6. Data Connection for this application has been accomplished through ODBC-DAO jet engine methodology. Responsibilities include:

Developed a web-based application for Cleaver Brooks (USA) to maintain order entry information according to the product, product type, and accessories. Business objects residing on the web server to validate order entries made at the client side. Depending upon the various requirements, these business objects/classes can then be called up from the Visual InterDev 1.0, VBScript to the client terminal through object definitions. Car Financing System for a local Financing Company, was developed to maintain a variety of customer transactions, such as the financing of a new car and exchanging a previous car for a newer model. Also automates sending reminders for additional services such as insurance, license renewal, etc.,
Time/Log Sheet for a local organization, was developed for maintaining a record of the amount of time each employee spends at a client's place of business versus time at workplace on any project. Reports generated include "Developer-wise Analysis" (Personal Sheet) and "Customer Sheet on Problems in Software".

As a Systems Executive, Developed 3-4 commercial application softwares for storing large amounts of data that could be easily accessed and generated, namely a Member Billing System (Bangalore Turf Club) and an Inventory System. Responsibilities include debugging, analyzing, coding, and implementing the various systems. Worked primarily with FoxPro 2.5.
