Job Description

  • Implementing design changes and recommendations for migration to Microsoft Windows 2000 domain environment as senior network advisor.
  • Installation, configuration and migration to new Microsoft Windows 2000 OS network, WIN2000 Professional software.
  • Installation, configuration of Windows 2000 server, with multi-operating systems.
  • Implementation of TCP/IP protocol for Internet access via LAN server, using firewall management service ISP controller software.
  • Implementation of backup scheme and installation of Backup software via external CD-RW, Flash RAM, and ZIP backup hardware, including off-site via internet backups.
  • Configuration of database network application software with RAID features and multi-users / multi-workstations environment.
  • Implementation of file replication between Stand-alone PC and WIN2000 Windows server.
  • Rebuild workstation hardware and redesign LAN network /cabling overview.
  • Administration of user and resources allocation on Windows servers, using NTFS file system.
  • Implementation of special communication interfaced hardware in multi-user environment.
  • Installation, configuration of network aware database application software.
  • Installation, configuration and administration of remote access PC AnyWhere software.
  • Implementation of File and Printing network resources.
