Ten percent of America's oil comes from Nigeria and 80% of their oil production goes to us. We are the people purchasing this oil and aiding the murderous control of Nigeria military government. Defenders Of The Rainforest have added their name to the long list of organizations which oppose Shell Oil's practices and are calling for a boycott of Shell until they clean up there act by getting out of Nigeria for good! Shell stopped operations in shame and swore to shareholders they would only return if invited. Now, the military has forced the Ogoni people to sign a bogus "invitation" to allow Shell to come back.
Contact your Congress people and demand sanctions and a U.S. Oil Embargo: Please contact your Congressional Representative and Senators.
