So what is the big myth anyway? As is written in plain assembly above,
whenever the GET READY banner is displayed, if you are holding down
the keys [J] [O] [E] simultaneously when the banner disappears, then
rumor has it that you will have unlimited lives. Once you are in the
"mythical" mode, you can press [U] or [D] whenever the GET READY banner
is displayed. When the banner goes away, you will automatically go
up or down one level respectively. Great debugging tool, and even greater
cheat tool. Joe is the name of my son. At the time I wrote this, I had
only two children, and Kathryn was just too many keys to make you hold
down at one time! :) Since this time, Jessica, Emilyn, Rachel, Sophrona, and Mariah have been born, but I still think that Joe was the wise choice.
