Regular Moves Captain
Fire
+ P (can be done in air)
Captain Commando blasts some fire from an opening in his
arm. The flame goes all the way to the end of the screen no matter what button is
pushed. However, short characters may be able to duck it.
Captain Corridor
+ P
Captain Commando slams his fist into the ground and a
discharge of energy shoots up from the point of impact. It is a great anti-air move
and works well against super jumpers. The Jab version is closer to Cap while the
Fierce one is further away. This can OTG too, so try using it after a sweep.
Captain Kick
+ K
Captain Commando leaps forward, striking out quickly with
his legs, which are on fire. Roundhouse Kick goes too high unless you are right next
to the opponent, so stick with short and forward kicks. The recovery time is bad, so
use it sparingly.
Commando Strike
+ K
Captain Commando summons one of his friends to assist him. If
you use short, he calls Kakeru, who falls to the floor striking anything in his path with
his sword. Forward Kick calls Genity to fly above Cap from one side of the screen to
the other with knives spinning like a helicopter. The RoundHouse version calls
Hoober, who shoots a big missile. The RoundHouse version is too slow, and CapCom
pauses when his friends come out, so be wary. However, his friends can take hits for
him, so try to take advantage of that if possible.
Super Moves
Captain Sword
+ PP
Captain and his friends take out a huge gun and fire it,
starting at 90 degrees and working its way down. It is a good anti-air move and can
be comboed off of his RoundHouse Kick Launcher. The recovery time is decent, but you
can be nailed by quick opponents.
Captain Storm
+ KK
This is Capcom's auto combo super. It looks very
cool! He rushes up to the enemy, and if they aren't blocking, he starts comboing the
hell out of them! His 3 friends help kick the other players ass, and then CapCom
smashes him with a Captain Corridor! The 4 friends then pose. This is a good
super but if it is blocked, the opponent will surely counter. Be careful and don't
use it out of the blue.
