  2. Hasbro makers of the new version of Frogger,  have purchased Atari for $5 million.
On February 23, 1998, JTS Corporation (the "Company") sold substantially all of the
assets of the Company's Atari Division, consisting primarily of Atari home computer
games and the intellectual property rights and license agreements associated with such
games (the"Atari Assets"), to HIACXI, Corp. ("HIAC"), a wholly-owned subsidiary
of Hasbro Interactive, Inc., for $5,000,000 in cash. The purchase price was determined

  1. Since I last made a post we lost a good friend to the Jaguar comunity, Thomas Rodman died on Thanksgiving.
  2. I also believe since my last post, Telgames released IS2 cartridge, like 20 new Jag pages went up, and the doom source hase been released.
  3. Worms 1 still hasent been released for the Jaguar, yet worms 2for the PC has been out for about 4 months now.
  4. Since the code has been released, a few people are aparently looking to get sewed buy porting and selling Doom, Doom2, and Final Doom for the Jaguar. I suggest they read the Licensing Agreement.
  5. Non-Jaguar related news: My game is running low on funds again, considering its being made on a budget of about $100 right now. I dont want to have to put it on hold again, I tend to forget were I left off and that causes me to have to back track. I also haven't updated my page in along time because of the game and other reasons.

  3. Jagu-Dome and Jagu-Sounds were relocated to http://jaguar.holyoak.com/. The site sports a new set graphics and a new design. The Battle Sphere countdown page was also relocated. You can find that at http://www.best.com/~varelse/

  1. I just got the November issue of Next Gen magazine, and it had a article about Jeff Minter(programmer of Tempest) and Richard Miller(the guy who made the Jaguars impressive chipset)about there new N64 killer. For those of you who haven't heard some thing about this yet, its called Project X. Keep going to Minter's site and he might put something up about it.
  2. For those interested in Jag programming, Telegames has a lot of development kits and there selling them, but at too high a price. They made me an 1 time offer to come up with a price they could agree with, but as you could probly guess I didnt have enough money for the price they wanted. So there goes my plans for Jag game development, I'll just stick with making PC games.

  2. Tetrisphere was originally going to be released for the Jag as "Phear" was regretfully released on to N64.
