...Poetry is a spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings recollected in tranquility. They soothe the heart and brings quietness to the soul....
Given below are some poems that I love so much.

[ENJOY LIFE],[HOPE],[KEEP YOUR CHIN UP], [WHISPERS OF LOVE],[NO NEED TO WORRY],
[WHAT AGE ARE YOU], [HOUSE BUILT WITH LOVE],[OLD MEMORIES],[CHILDHOOD'S SMILING FACE],
[THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD],[THERE ARE NO ENDINGS]

ENJOY LIFE
Enjoy life and don't complain
because God sends a little rain.
The rain will pass and you will see
rainbows where clouds used to be.
Enjoy life;there is much to do,
for every day brings something new.
The grass is always sweet and green
when you rise above the dull routine.
Enjoy life each day that you live,
for blessings come to those who give.
Share the joy that's in your soul
with those who have no worthy goal.
Enjoy life both night and day,
and watch your sorrows fade away.
If you would be a happy man...
you'll succeed when you think you can!

HOPE
There's hope for tomorrow,
even when things look dim,
There's hope for tomorrow
when you put your trust in Him.
Though darkness surrounds you,
He's always there,
With arms that will hold you
in His loving care.
Just when you thought
you had lost everything,
He's right there beside you,
with comfort to bring.
And you'll know with assuarance,
He'll never depart,
For He's dwelling inside you,
right there in your heart.

WHAT AGE ARE YOU
Age cannot be counted by
The years a person lives,
But by the Hope within his heart,
And all love he gives.
How young you are does not depend
Upon the date of Birth,
How old you are,not measured by
Your time upon this earth.
But if your heart is full of dreams,
And if you are among
Those with an eagerness for life,
...Then you are truly young.
But if you see no beauty,
In all that you behold,
And care not for your fellow man,
...Then you are truly old.

NO NEED TO WORRY
Through the darkness of this life,
I travel every day;
but there's no need to worry,
for I have found "The Way."
And I know He will guide me,
wherever i must go,
So there's no need to worry,
God's word has told me so.
And there's no need to worry,
even in the darkest night,
for I'll keep looking forward,
and I'll see His light.
And He will lead me down the road,
as narrow as it is,
but still no need to worry,
because the road is His.
So why waste any time at all,
not a minute, hour, or day,
when ther's no need to worry,
Once you have found "The Way."

WHISPERS OF LOVE
Ribbons of sunlight slip under mydoor,
crawl over the table, across the dark floor.
I sense they are there, and open my eyes.
I draw wide the curtains to clear,
crimson skies!
I open my windows - how warm is the breeze;
now the chirping of birds resounds from the trees.
The fragnance of roses passes my way,
and a bright morning star greets the new day.
The earth is the Lord's from the mountain to the sea,
and I have been blessed just watching a bee!
The gifts that God gives us come from above
to fill hearts and mind with whispers of love.

KEEP YOUR CHIN UP
When the road gets mighty rough
Keep your chin up.
Even though the going's tough
Keep your chin up.
If you see you cannot make it
Show the world that you can take it,
Though they take your heart and break it
Keep your chin up.
If the sunshine stays away
Keep your chin up.
It will have to shine some day
Keep your chin up.
Though you feel no joy within
Greet each new day with a grin
In the end you're bound to win
Keep your chin up.

HOUSE BUILT WITH LOVE
Without love, a house is just a house--
a ceiling, walls and floor,
But fill that house with Faith and love
and it becomes much more.
A home is where your dreams come true
for love abides, you see,
And love makes a house a home
regardless of pedigree.
Homes a shelter from the storms of life
and sanctuary too,
For loved ones wait behind the door
to hug and comfort you.
It's home where God is honoured
and the Bible often read,
And there the children seek Him
before they go to bed.
Home may be a simple shanty
beneath the stars above,
But blessed are those who dwell within
a home that's built with love!

OLD MEMORIES
Ther are those special memories
We cherish through the years,
The most of them are happy ones
A few are touched by tears.
They all become more beautiful
The older now they grow,
And with their age they take thier place
aAs days of long ago.
They are the pictures of a past
For which we sometimes yearn,
But which we know so well is gone
And which cannot return.
They have no market value in
our commerce of today,
They are not even anything
that we can give away.
And yet those memories can play
a most important part,
As they inspire or console,
Or otherwise help the heart

CHILDHOOD'S SMILING FACE
There is a path of disarray
that children leave behind
A trail of toys not put away,
of clothes they cannot find.
Spills and spots and stains
so mysteriously do appear,
Like muddy footprints when it rains
and "no one's been in here!"
There are the growning pains
that mom and dad must share
Until they vanish like the stains
and are no longer there.
Then in immaculate solitude
all is in it's place...
But lost somewhere in the interlude is childhood's smiling face.

THERE ARE NO ENDINGS
This I have found among the twisted ways,
The narrow paths converging into one,
Somewhere beyond the setting of the sun,
When dusk lends softness to
the web of days,
And weary hours sink to blend among
The quiet peace, wherein a silver star
Reminds me heaven isn't all that far,
Whose ladder Hope has fashioned,
rung by rung.
Where reason seeks the meaning of a man,
Hearts can sense the things
eyes cannot see,
Though life remains the greatest mystery,
Love holds the clue within a gentle hand.
"There are no endings, only pauses when
We look for new beginnings once again."

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD
The Lord is my Shepherd,
And I am His lamb,
Who loves me in spite
Of the way that I am.
Who sees something in me,
That other folks miss,
And I sometimes think maybe,
Because of this
I've never felt bitter,
Unloved or alone,
Though sometimes I grieve for
My loved ones now gone.
For I've always believed in
The words He has said,
That the spirit lives on,
Though the body be dead.
And I feel closer to Him,
Because of His care,
And I know when I call Him,
That he'll be there.
So I fear not the shadows,
So dark and so dim,
For my Shepherd will carry me
Safaly through them.
