Jodeman's SGI & Stuff is run off an SGI Indigo2 with the following specs:
- R4400 250mhz CPU
- 384mb Memory
- 73 Gigabyte System Disk
- Solid Impact Graphics
- Phobos G160 Ethernet Card
- Irix 6.5.22m
The website has been on this system since Summer 2004. It runs okay so far. Aside from crashing from a faulty memory simm which has since been replaced, I haven't had any other hardware problems. That might have been due to the dust that's under my desk. There wasn't all that much dust inside when I opened it so it probably wasn't due to suffocating from dust.CPU: MIPS R4400 Processor Chip Revision: 6.0 FPU: MIPS R4000 Floating Point Coprocessor Revision: 0.0 1 250 MHZ IP22 Processor Main memory size: 256 Mbytes Secondary unified instruction/data cache size: 2 Mbytes on Processor 0 Instruction cache size: 16 Kbytes Data cache size: 16 Kbytes Integral SCSI controller 0: Version WD33C93B, revision D Disk drive: unit 1 on SCSI controller 0 Integral SCSI controller 1: Version WD33C93B, revision D On-board serial ports: 2 On-board bi-directional parallel port Graphics board: Solid Impact Integral Ethernet: ec0, version 1 E++ controller: ec1, version 0 Iris Audio Processor: version A2 revision 1.1.0 EISA bus: adapter 0 6.5 6.5.22m sc0d1l0: Disk SEAGATE ST173404LC 0004 Serial: 3CE04W00I could easily upgrade it with more memory or even set up another R10000 system, Max Impact graphics for it instead of using this lower end system but there's no need at current time. I have literally tons of them available to me but no time to bother with doing it.
I used to have it running on another Indigo2.. R10000 195mhz, 256mb Memory, 18gb 15000rpm Disk, Phobos G160, Irix 6.5.17m. That system is now been converted to a remote server for my software installations.
