Academics

Programs

The primary objective of the academic programs at IBA is to prepare managers and professionals not only for entry level positions but also for the top positions that they are likely to hold in the future. Hence, the program curriculum is broad based and consists of a number of compulsory courses. However, the students have the opportunity to major in specific areas of concentrations through elective courses or through programs that offer specialized tracks. Areas of specialization for BBA / MBA programs through elective courses include Marketing, Finance and Management Information Sciences (MIS).

In addition, there are MBA programs with specialized tracks in Marketing of Financial Services (MFS) and International Business. The Center for Computer Studies at IBA offers specialized program tracks in MIS and Computer Science (Software Engineering). Programs offered by IBA may be classified according to the degree, day or evening, or the specialization offered.
