MBA for PGD Students

Students who have successfully completed the PGD in Business Administration from IBA are eligible for promotion to the MBA program.

The Master's program builds on the basic knowledge provided in the business administration diploma. The MBA degree prepares the students for the ultimate top management cadre. Consequently, the curriculum emphasize the decision making and strategic planning aspect of management positions.

Beside the nine compulsory courses students also have to pass two optional courses. The optional courses provide the students more opportunity to gain more advanced and specialized knowledge in the areas of his or her interest and choice.

611   Marketing-Management
731 - Methods in Business Research
        Computer Application to Business.

Note : (Each of the above courses is of three credit hours).

The eleven courses required for the MBA degree can be completed in one and a half years after the completion of PGD courses. These eleven courses must be completed within five years from completion of PGD (Business Administration). This rule will apply retrospectively.
The Institute retains the flexibility of making changes in the course requirements of any of its programs without notice.
