930- Off-the-Shelf SW Package Implementation a course focusing on the latest trend of businesses implementing off-the-shelf packages like SAP, Oracle Applications or JD Edwards rather than developing customized applications from scratch Students would study the options and tuning features available in a given package. They would study the business requirements for one of the modules to be implemented. Then, they would have to tone the features available in the given package to meet the business requirements. This would be hand on implementation course.

931 - Software Project and Quality Management is a breadth course covering overall management of the different phases of the systems development life cycle. It would cover managing of project teams, development environments, methodologies, standards, and testing strategies. Planning, co-ordination, staffing, controlling of a real project under time and resource constraints with firm deadlines meeting quality specifications. Design Walk Through, quality assurance, implementation planning and deployment. Use of tools and methodologies for project management. ISO 9000 standard for software houses.
