Mrs. Anjum Parvez Shaikh
Mrs. Anjum Parvez Shaikh studied at the St. Joseph’s Convent School, but appeared in Matriculation examinations as a private candidate due to her father’s posting out of the country. She gave her Matric exams in 1961, securing 2nd division. Intermediate examinations followed in 1963 (Islamia College), again securing 2nd division. She attained the 2nd division again in her B.A exams, 1965, again from St. Joseph’s, with Psychology and Economics as optionals. Her further education includes DMHS from 1991 to 1995 from St. John’s Homeopathic Medical College under the National Council for Homeopathy. Mrs. Parvez Shaikh holds teaching experience of about 12 years at the PACC from 1982 onwards. She did crash programs in teaching of English to Iranian Refugees, courtesy of PACC, YMCA and the UN from 1987-89. She has also participated in preparation of BBA and MBA students for entrance tests under the "Parent Teacher Society" at IBA. She is at present working for the IBA City Campus as SLR instructor, etc. Her areas of interest include reading books on Homeopathy and related material, teaching of English as a second language, and preparing students for the IBA entrance tests, to groom them to the challenges they will have to face at the IBA. |
