Yo buddies, This page is dedicated to all of you who in lots of ways have been much more than friends to me. Let me not talk about what each one has done for the fear that I would turn all mushy and guess that would'nt be doing justice for this page dedicated to the happiness that each person here has brought to me in ways unimaginable.

I am taking a purely chronological sequence of my lifetime for want of a better approach :-)) and for purely political reasons I guess.

I met Param(bagga), Prakash(katte) and Srikumar(lekhu) in college. That meeting with the three of them went on to become to the most important friendship for me. This photograph was taken at Katte's marraige ( :-)) kind of explains why Katte has one eye closed)

Bagga is working in bangalore, Katte in madras and Lekhu is currently in Germany. All of us are far away from each other but still think of each other almost everyday ( Well almost because Param and katte who are married now have more important people in their lives to think about :-)) ).

The two and a half years that I spent at BFL were very pleasent and enjoyable and in the process I also became close to Ashok, Harsha, Sreenivas and Ranganath. UNITE project was the first that I did at BFL and the same gang  joined by Taranath were also with me in the US - where else could friends go except to the same places. If not for these guys my stay here in the US would'nt have been the fun that it was.

Also at BFL I did a project called FISH. That was the most closely knit project group that I had worked with and it was a pleasure to work with these very talented group of individuals. Hats off to Sudarshan (sudhiya), Sohan(Non resident american ), Vatsa(big talker and big hearted) and ofcourse Adiga (TPdigs). Vijay kumar (Tagad) was a visiting professer for this project and our friends from Malaysia - Kevin and Wee were absolutely game for everything - even a days trekking in the mountains of Mudumalai :-)). This photograph was taken before the trek. They did'nt know what was awaiting them the next day :-)))).

Rajan and I have shared a lot of activities together and its been a pleasure all the way. His friendship is again something that I will cherish for a long time. Be it white water rafting or country music dancing or rollerblading or skiing or photography, he has been part of those activities. He is another person without whom life here in the US would have been boring for me. He is a cat at Skiing and I hate to be going to San Diego leaving him here in the Bay area.Thats rajan and me at the Yosemite national park in November of 1997.
