The Emulators below I have found most useful. I've been able to run a high % of the games & programs I have listed with one or the other.  Grab them both if You don't have them.  Star Commander and instructions for making the X1541 cable are included here also, grab them too .  If You haven't used a C=64 Emulator before GRAB the file How-Do-I text & have a good read as well as X1541 cable diagram and X1541.exe file.
When You're ready to try a Commodore 64 Emulator for the first time just Grab the stuff in GREEN.

+   + X-1541cable =    C64 inside Your PC      1541/81 Disk drive plus X1541 cable &  Star Commander program is all You need to transfer Your favorite     C64 games to the PC . Add a  good C64 Emulator and You're In Business
