I was born and raised in the Niagara Region and though I am currently living in the USA (due to my husbands job) I will ALWAYS be Canadian!
- The United Nations has chosen Canada for 7 consecutive years, as the best country in the world to live in
- Canada is the worlds second largest land mass, surppassed only by the Russian Federation
- The Canadian flag we know and love today became official on Feburary 15, 1965, although the "Maple Leaf" has been assosiated with Canada since as early as 1868.
- The beaver is the official animal of Canada
- the telephone the kitchen stove and cable television were invented by Canadians
- the most widely used invention was the zipper, it is another Canadian invention
- Toronto is the most multicultural city in the world
