Good-Bye
Innocence lost for a few dollars gained is seen as a trade-off that's fair.
I think as people should all be ashamed, and if not, than people beware.
The men sworn to uphold the laws are breaking them. Who can we trust.
The women entrusted to teach children, are raping them. Revolution's a must.
Women with babies are being killed, with no one left for the children.
All I can say is be strong willed. What kind of future are we building?
It's time for a change and I'm calling on you, everyone with this poem in hand.
Stop closing your eyes, you have a job to do, every child, woman and man.
The world may not be perfect because I'm taking my life, but I may affect the lives of just three.
And one, in turn, look twice at his his wife, before hitting her, and think of me.
And another perhaps would have killed her son before she had read my poem.
And the third may feel lost and think he's the only one, but now he won't feel so alone.
If the souls of these three are all that I touch, it would be well worth my life's end .
The lives of these three truly mean so much, because they may each bless three friends.
I just may have started a new beginning. If not, I won't be here to witness the end.
I see no other way. For me there's no winning, for you I leave this. Please don't quit my friend.
Good-Bye
