Greetings, I'm Beau (registered name: Chris' Noble Beau) the TCMerge dog. The family serves as my companions. I like to lay around a lot and I have my owners trained pretty well. They feed me cheese when I'm good (Kraft American Singles are my favorite), they take me for rides in the Jeep, they get to brush me, and I let them take me outside when I feel like going-well ya' know. I won't go off the porch if it's raining - I just don't like getting wet. But in the winter if it's snowing, you'll never get me back in the house. I just like to catch snowflakes and jump in big piles of snow ALOT! I rarely bark, but I must warn you, if you walk up to our door, I'll be barking. I am a breed of dog that protects my family. Once I get to know you and my family shows me that you're OK, I'll be very nice to you. The Chow Chow is one of the oldest recognized breed of dogs. My breed dates back more than 2000 years (imagine-that's 14,000 in 'dog years'!!!) I am a breed that can trace my ancestors back to Northern China where Chow Chow's were used as an all-purpose dog for herding, hunting, pulling stuff, and protecting the home. My appearence is quite stunning. You can't tell in any of the pictures here, but I have a tounge that's a little different than most other dog breeds, it's blue-black in color. I also have a very thick coat of course fur that requires much care. But as I said before, I've got my owners well trained and they brush me quite often. There are several different colors and shadings that the Chow Chow breed comes in.
I am a Cinnamon chow which is one of the most popular colors. My tail is very feathery and I keep it close to me at all times. When describing my appearence, many have used words such as handsome, powerful, fuzzy-like a teddy bear, huggable, plush, and dignified. Sounds like the ideal dream guy for a date, eh! When I was a puppy, I had a black mask, this is very common of red Chow Chows as pups. As I grew up, most of it grew out. I set the stage for cuteness so my owners have very high expectations for the next pooch to join our family. We're looking to add yet another Chow Chow to the family in a a year or two. Maybe in the year 2000, wouldn't that be cool a 'turn of the century dog'. I belonged to Chris before they got married, so naturally I have a special fondness for Chris. So I've heard Tricia mention that she wants a girl Chow to add to the family. We've all decided that she'll be blonde and named Tasha - how's that sound guys!!! Of course she must have an impressive registered name like mine, we all like 'Tricia's Princess Natasha'. The we'd be the TCMerge Kids-until the real ones come around. My owners aren't planning that until around 2000 or 2001. But you never know!!!I'm keen, intelligent, and independent. That gives me my sense of dignity. However, I'm pretty laid back, I'm not aggressive and I'm not shy. My parents were very gentle and I have to thank them for giving me a very good pedegree.
