This was a summer student position. I worked with a team attempting to restore a local creek to a healthy fish-bearing stream. Duties included: brushing and weeding, tree planting, placing gravel in the stream, hand-logging, trail making, creation of v-weirs and other in stream structures, improving the water level around a culvert, thinning, bank stabilization, mapping, and creating a monthly news letter to inform the local community of our intentions and accomplishments.
