Need A Better Fax....
How many times have you gone to the fax machine only to find a 10 page fax and the information you needed was on a few pages and the rest were a waste of paper?  Have your customers ever told you they had been trying to send you a fax but kept getting abusy signal?  How about the times when the Fax machine runs out of paper.  These problems and other can all be eliminated when you get eFax.  The fastest and easiest way to receive faxes and voicemail — whether you're on the road, at the office, or working from home. eFax Free allows you to receive messages by e-mail (right in your Notes inbox), or receive wireless notification, fall or FREE.

No more standing around the fax machine waiting for your fax to arrive. No more wandering eyes looking at your confidential documents. No more missed voicemail. With eFax Free you receive your faxes and voicemail as attachments in your Notes (or cc:Mail or internet hotmail or AOL) e-mail account.

eFax Free is always free — no hidden costs or charges.  There is also eFax Plus that comes with a monthly fee with several other add on features.  I've been an eFax free user for over a year and it has been painless, easy to use and best of all - Free.  Unlike junk mail, I have only received one "junk" fax since I have been on the service.  The eFax company has a strong policy against junk eFax and does a great job eliminating them.  Kudos to them.  Notwithstanding the ease of use and all the marketing pitch, what I like best is the ability to save my incoming faxes just as I would any other e-mail message I receive.  I also never have to waste the paper to print them out unless I need to, and then I can print just the pages I really want.

It can't be much simpler than this.  Click on the eFax link over on the right side of your screen, follow the links to sign up for a free account.  Answer a few basic questions, including the e-mail account your faxes will come to and your almost done.  You new eFax phone number appears on the screen and will be available within a matter of hours for you to begin receiving faxes.  I'd guess the number provided would probably be a toll call from most locations.  My eFax area code is 734.  If you sign up for the Plus service, you can get a local phone number in some locations, you're have to check yours if you are interested.  The only other thing you'll need to do is down load the eFax viewer.  It is a very small program that is used to view the incoming faxes.  When you receive a fax, an e-mail will be sent to you (the senders name will appear as eFax).  If the sender has their fax machine set up correctly, their fax number will appear in the subject line.  Just launch the attached fax message, the viewer will open and you'll be looking at your fax.  You can rotate pages, zoom in or out, print the pages you want.  Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
