Great news!!! Democrats held their own in the Senate with victory in South Carolina, Wisconsin, California, Washington, New York, and North Carolina and only losing Illinois and Kentucky. They also took five house seats. Finally we held down most of our governorships. In more interesting news the Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich resigned just yesterday.

From what you see here you will think I am a diehard democrat. Yes I am a I a pro choice, support education, reform campaign spending liberal. I am a Democrat because I feel that as long as people take advantage of living in America they should have to pay the price to maintain the land of opportunity and sacrifice a little for the good of the people. We should not restrict immigration in such a large way because we are all either immigrants  or descendants of immigrants. People should be in the military manditorily from the age of 18 and be in the reserve for the rest of your life. If you won't fight for the United States, don't be an American. Go to some other country that strives to live live us Democrat.
