Win9x Graphical Front End For

Callus
Capcom Arcade Game Emulator
(Callus Emulator Copyright (C) 1997 Bloodlust Software)

Use Strider's swords to scroll left
and right through eight screens
of Capcom arcade action!

The CallusW (or "Callus-Win") front-end version 4.0 supports all Callus Emulator v0.42 supported games with the exception of the late addition "SF2 Rainbow Edition" (which is actually just a SF2 ROM hack anyway.)

Also, because CallusW operates using BAT files, you may actually edit the SF2 BAT file to run Rainbow Edition if you wish.

CallusW also includes the option of using zipped roms.

About CallusW

CallusW is NOT just another front-end. It does not simply show you a game list. It is NOT a "rom manager." CallusW is a simulated museum of classic Capcom arcade games that any old-school arcade fan will totally love. When you fire up CallusW, you'll see an actual row of authintic Capcom arcade machines. When you choose a game, you'll get a sub-menu featuring the original arcade side-art. I've also included optional zipped roms support, which lets you play the games from zip files and will save you LOADS of hard drive space. (However, if you have a CD-ROM burner, my advice is to just burn all your unzipped Callus ROMS on a disc, placed in their respective game folders of course, and play them right off the CD.)

CallusW was made with one simple goal in mind: to make using Callus feel as close to the arcade experience as possable. I personaly love Capcom arcade games (I own a few myself), and I wanted a front-end for Callus that made me feel as if I were really in an arcade pumping quarters into big machines. You know, the way its supposed to be!

This front-end truely brings out the full experience of the arcade as best as can be done using an emulator. It's made for the hard-core Capcom fans. I designed it because its the way I wanted to play Callus, and I just figured, why not offer it to the rest of the emu community?

Each game features an
individual sub-menu
with original arcade
cabinet side-art.
