Lil Bit of Sunshine

Sometimes my hopes will falter
When helping out a friend
Then I'll look to God for Courage
And he lets some sunshine in

This lil bit of sunshine
Is a blessing in disguise
When I get granted a little hope
And the tears dry from eyes

This lil bit of sunshine
Is forever near my side
When I need a special touch of hope
It never runs to hide

When God sends to me this sunshine
It is simply just a friend
To lift me up with hopes abound
And my broken heart to mend.
