the quiet chirping of serenading crickets
the moonlit sky with its bright array
the last shooting star of the season
feel the wind rustle softly against my skin
tingling, sparkling, sense of being
the only one in this moment of time
relishing in the essence of peace
looking off to the diamonds in the sky
twinkling in unison with the moons shadows
shedding its adoration on my spirit
this quiet evening when I stand all alone....
