Treasures

I sit amongst my memories
A slight smile cascades my lips
Reflections of my life pass by
All the treasure I now miss

I sometimes miss my past life
All those treasures that helped me through
And then on some unsuspecting day
I get this gift from you

A gift to help me remember
That we're blessed in all we do
God replaces all my past gifts
With this treasure I find in you

Reflections still come often
As we need them to carry on
But we must always live for today
To keep our memories strong
