God did bow his head in sorrow
When he saw what you had done
You tried to shatter our Nation
Yet our spirit still lives on

Many lives were lost that day
By your unmerciful hand
Hearts rang out in terror
It was heard across the land

A whole city was in shambles
Was it just an act of rage?
You chose your actors carefully
And made America your stage

So go run and hide Bin Laden
Never fear we'll find you out
Our Nation is undivided
We'll seek until your found

Our flag it still flies freely
Our Nation still a whole
And when it comes right down to it
God have mercy on your soul
