Who am I? I need to know
Am I looked up to?
Am I really respected?
Do you know who I am?

Am I loved by others?
Am I hated or despised?
Do I have meaning in this life?
Do I give meaning to someone else?

I know who I am
I am a mother and a wife
I am a friend and an enemy
I am a spirit and a soul

I am liked, and I am loved
I am hated and I am despised
I am looked up to by my children
I am adored by my husband

I am respected by my friends
I am feared by my enemies
I have a purpose in this life
Therefore I have meaning
