I have been interested in computer programming since 1964 when I got a chance to play with an IBM 1620 at the Bronx High School of Science. Since 1971 I have earned my living as a computer programmer, and since 1979 I have been an independent computer consultant. My clients have included major corporations, software houses and consulting firms. I have also been a frequent contributor to PC Magazine and other computer publications.

P.S. In 1976 I started calling three-letter acronyms TLA's. In 1997 I started calling the 'www' that prefixes URL's a "treble-doub". If either of these usages catch on I want credit, damn it!
