My name is Igor Kolupaev. I'm 25. I'm from Belarus, Minsk city. It is a little, amazing country in center of Europe....

....brrr, looks like the topic "My native City" at the English lesson ;).

Anyway,

Education:

1992-1996: Economist, "Institute of Modern Knowledge" -- My honour! I was one of the firsts graduates of the first Private (paid) Secondary school in our country! The knowledge of Economics helps me very much in my programming and computering.
1988-1990: Programmer, Special courses in the high school.
1986-1988: Young Cybernetist ;))), The School of Young cybernetists in Institute of Cybernetic.

Employment Experience:

March 1993 - present: Customers Service Manager. Cosmos TV, Joint Venture (Cable TV operator). Decision maker in IT politics of customers management. Developed the most of customers management software for the company including system to auto-notify our debtors by phone-calls using Visual C++, MFC and Free WFC library (It's not too easy task, taking into consideration noisy phone-lines, try to check difference between pure tone signal and humans "Hello!" or "Ms. Johnson speaking" ;))); also I have developed some little utilities to help my colleagues to improve some reports.
May 1992 - March 1993: Programmer. Top Soft, ltd. Accounting and management software provider. Taking part at "Galaxy" project (it is the most advanced business software in Belarus
September 1991 - January 1992, Minsk Technological Institute. Take part in several projects with Lead of Head of Information department of the Institute.
Summer 1987, Consultant at Express-Service Ltd, computer center.

Programming background:

I had started to do it after I assembled my first PC called "MK-88". It's russian clone intel8008-based computer. It was a great period. Basic, Assembler. PL/1 I used for coding on IBM/370 mainframe at cybernetics School. After that I have learned Fortran...not too bad for programming, isn't it? C++, Pascal, Visual Basic, Java, even Prolog and Lisp all I learned myself to choose one, which I'd love. And one thing I understood that it doesn't matter for me what language I'm programming. But now I usually use Visual C++ 5.0 with MFC and Visual Basic in different edition it depends on the task I have to solve. To get access to database I usually use DAO objects, but sometimes I take good old Clipper ;) or MS Excel or MS Access (The last 2 products I usually use to data analysis).

Awards:

October 1998: First price in Microsoft Office extension contests by Microsoft, Russia. Press release (in Russian)
February 1998: Finalist in Microsoft Office extension contests by Microsoft, Russia.

...brrr, sounds like formal resume (I took this part from it). OK I'll try to change the style

Games. Yes. I like to spend my free time playing different games. Do you think it is my drawback? I think NO! I like to play not only computer strategic games and puzzles, but, also, games with playing cards (some russian games) and Darts. I not Master in darts but I try to improve myself in this game. If anybody likes to spend his free time playing preferance. Let's play! If you haven't got NetPref 2.1 yet, download it! and send me a message or call by ICQ

Singing. Sometimes I'm singing for my wife (yes I'm married) and for my friends. Of cause I accompany my singing by playing musical instrument ;) (guitar). Some years ago my fiends an I tried to play punk. Someone said that it was not too bad. ;))) But it was in the past.

Flight models. Sometimes I spend my time constructing flight models but not too often. I like it very much, but I can't do it if I have less than one full spare day for it.

Also I do what everyone does. Eating, drinking and other things. ;)
May be in the future I will develope this story... (when I become more selfish ;)))
Thanks for reading it.
