The ~ version is now more reliable then without on geocities. Sorry for the inconvenience Welcome to Digital Corner. Here you will find some of my work that I thought might be helpful or entertaining to others. I have worked on these in my spare time just for personal interest. I have posted the finished work for people to download for their own use. Currently, there is information about Mac@Chess (an email chess game), a Mac Air Hockey Game, a mac file utility called Re-Move, a digital design section, and info on a few other projects. I know that there is a lot of concern about downloading over the internet so I have put up a page about myself so you could get a little information that may ease your mind. Otherwise, feel free to email me. Because of my expanded interest in Digital Logic/Embedded Systems, I have put up a page about some of the stuff that I have been working on. One is a boolean logic truth table creator which allows you to determine and print truth tables for digital logic equations as well as other features of equations. The other is a NFSM/FSM tester which will be up shortly. Both are done in Java for cross platform ability. Click here to go there. 1. The first it called Mac@Chess. It is an Email Chess game. It is a graphical chess game creates Move files that can be emailed back and fourth. It is in the tradition of the old way of playing Chess though the mail, only using electronic methods. I am also working on a port to Windows, but that won't be for a while. 2. The second, and the one that is getting the most attention right now, is an Air Hockey Game. It is working very well, but still in the beta testing stages. Right now, all that can be done is play against the computer, but a two player vs option is being added. When I get it done, its own web page will be up. Feel free to contact me about this one if your interested. There is a working demo. 3. The third is a utility called Re-Move that I made when I was working on my Co-op work term. Right now it basically handles two functions. One is to take two folders and scans them both. It takes the files that are not in the second folder and moves them over. This was very helpful when reinstalling system folders and needed to copy all of the extensions, pref. files, etc. that were put there by other applications. It tracks what is moved and creates a report. There is also a folder report function. This quickly takes everything in the folder and writes the names to a text file such that it can be printed or viewed quickly. There is a tonne of stuff in the works, but they won't be up for a while as time is restricted recently. Current version is 0.9.6b. 4. The fourth is a small utility (actually it's going to be two applications). One of the applications goes into the startup folder and at startup launches asking for a password. It waits until there is a password typed. It also keeps track of every launch that is started and stores it into a text file. 5. I am currently working on a server system written entirely in Java. Currently it only runs a ftp server which has all of the essential commands implemented (according to rfc959). I am slowly working on the other features such as resumed downloads as well as other servers. I know there is not much in the way of java ftp servers, so if you are interested or need some info, please feel free to contact me. 6. This is actually a game that I have been working on for the longest time and I even wonder if it will ever get finished. It is called CyberEnforcement. It is a strategy type war game which has turned into a longer project then I had hoped. It began as a simple game. But as I got further into it, I kept thinking of stuff to put into it. So who knows where it will end up or when it will be up. The only real thing that is holding this one up is the computers AI. Everything else works fine. I might just make it a two player game for now and leave it at that while I develop the computers AI. I would really like to get cracking on this one. I also hope to get some digital and maybe analog circuits up here, but that will require a lot of time. There are some great sites up already and for now I will work on getting links up. Also I was looking through all of my archives and realized that I have a tonne of source code from my many courses throughout the years. Some are pretty basic stuff, but others get more complicated from some of the later classes I have taken. I am thinking of getting some of that code up here soon. Most is pretty much ready to go, but I want to look over it as much of it was written a day before it was due. digital-corner@geocities.com You can find out more about me HERE.
