Suckers for the InternetQ:What's the difference between Spam and Scam? A:Spelling! Get Rich quick schemes, Porn Site posts that auto load the web page when a message is open; They're advertising for free, but is it cheap for us? Makers of Bulk mailers and heat seeking Usenet advertising software get by with impunity. They aren't cluttering the Network... They just make a product... Some people propose a postage rate for e-mail arguing that the increased cost will discourage bulk e-mailers. I think spammers have more savy than that. The cold war never had as many missles, anti-missles, and anti-missle missles as the War on Spam. Sending a polite note gets you on their list. Canceling their message gets 10 more messages posted under different phony names, maybe even under yours. Nobody is willing to admit who they really are anymore for fear of having their e-mail address culled out by robots. Even more critical to the Internet's being and use and practicallity, than privacy, is a sense of honesty. Thank you for visiting. You may request a topic or leave some comments though My guest book.
