Where the chuff do I live? What's my number? How young am I? You can find some answers here! | Cos I've been a poor student most of my life I've only been able to afford cheap and cheerful lads holidays on tacky English resorts. As a record of some of the happiest moments of my life I've always found it interesting to record these holidays in a diary. | Here are the websites I keep going back to. If they're not mentioned here they're usually easy to remember (like www.firstdirect.co.uk) |

I suddenly got seriously into listening to music when Metallica released One as a single in 1989. Suppose I'm most into low-production experimental music that the older generation (except John Peel) and females hate. Anyone else into Aphex Twin, Fall, Mr. Bungle, early Nirvana, Bowie, SFA, Voivod can wake me up to some similar music then give me an email. No musical snobs though! | Eiffel (what do yer mean you've never heard of it?) never took off but thankfully Java came along to keep me interested in saving my career! | Being a student I've lived in lots of different places in the UK. Who did I live with? How happy was I in each place? What was I doing there? |

The Internet is starting to reach a level of maturity so that with the excellent Google search engine I can find out about nearly everything I am interested in. Research on comics, books, toys and music I've been involved with in the past has become remarkably easy and fast.
A lot of people have enjoyed my honesty on the site, but obviously I am aware that this site is public and have to be careful not to upset any people of my past or jeopardise my professional career (as a Java web developer). I'm sure many people would find anecdotes about my past love life (wot love life?) as interesting as I would find writing it. But I'm no Tracey Emin, perhaps I could write about these things when I am happily married and retired?
[1/4/04] Well sorry to be a spoilsport but in my old(er) age I’ve begun to appreciate the benefits of privacy. Perhaps I don’t want everyone knowing how brainy\thick I am, the dimensions of my kitchen or a breakdown of some of the emotional swings in my life. I’ve saved all the personal pages into a little black box only accessible by me, ready to be redeployed when I’m on my last legs and there is nothing to lose but my dignity. I’ve just left a few links that work, you can observe how bizarre my music tastes are for example. In the meantime you can sign my guest book or contact me by email (sorry stalkers, I’ve removed the link to my address!). I'd appreciate any suggestions or help to make this site better.
