Network Administrator

Perform network administration tasks on more than 200 Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 servers.

  • Research latest patches and virus definitions and apply to 100+ IIS servers.
  • Image and configure new servers with standard corporate Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 images.
  • Monitor event logs and backup logs on all corporate Windows-based servers.
  • Assist in major migration, to include application testing, to Windows 2000 of more than 200 servers.
  • Train new and less experienced team members.
  • Troubleshoot tickets submitted by customers who own applications on servers.

  • Determine when additional expertise is required to fulfill customer needs and escalate those issues to appropriate second-level  ISD personnel for resolution.
  • Utilize available training and Help Desk tools to maintain and improve upon current knowledge of supported technologies and policies in order to provide technically accurate solutions.
