Colours are one of the most important factors to consider when designing your Web Page. (we spell colour with a U where I come from, so bear with me, I have proof read my work - I think!) If your colours contrast nicely then it can become quite eye-catching - if they clash, well that is another story.

I like to use simple colours for Web Design (I know not very imaginative) but in my opinion, I think it makes the page more navigational!(is that a word?).

Choosing the right colour scheme to suit your taste can be quite a task, this is where the '256 Browser Safe Colour Palette' may come in handy.
Also, if you have javascript turned on, go to the ''Color Cube' and have a look at how the colour you want will look as the background.
This is a pretty nifty little javascript :)

If you are wanting more information on choosing a colour scheme for your Site, I have listed some Sites that may be of use to you.

A lot of these sites offer converters that help change RGB value colors into Hexadecimal numbers, and some even offer an online converter - you pick the colours you would like to use and it will display them for you. Pretty neat huh?

Check out the Colours:
