First of all, the game is based on an old Disney movie.
In the moat of the Horned King swims alligators, which look the same as the
alligators from the moat of king Edward(From Kings Quest I)
Some of the players you can choose are actually heroes, staff, and relatives
from Sierra On-Line
Also, if you wait a while whilst playing on of the card games, the character will become bored, and begin talking to each other.
When you are in Castle Camelot go up to the treasury and type HAM AND JAM AND SPAM A LOT in all caps. A LOT might have to be one word if that doesn't work. This is a reference to 'Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail.' (Thank you Pepsi Lizard for sending this in).
The pictures at school(yuck :) are parodies of other dynamix games. They are pictures of a large dragon (Rise of the dragon), a F-19 Tomcat(another game, forgot which one), and a picture in the heart of China(Heart of China)
Monolith burger also appears in Space Quest 3. You can order things like
astro chicken(which is an arcade game in SQ3). Monolith burgers is, of
course, also a spoof to Mac Donalds.
Z-mart is a spoof to another market, which is X-mart I believe, but I'm
not sure. I hope someone can refresh me on this topic
Many of the developers also play part in the game as the clerks. I'm currently searching which one is who. I hope someone can provide me help with this one.
On the box cover, Sierra asked their receptionist Lisa Crabtee to pose as
Laura Bow. Roberta says she finds it kind of cute how visitors sometimes ask
where they've seen her before.
The reporter in the beginning thinks Laura is called "Laura Bains". This might be a spoof to Jessie Bains, the criminal in the 1st three Police Quest games.
In many of the tubes you find in the basement lie some cameo appearances to other Sierra games, like the unicorn from KQ4, or King Edward(Pictured left) from KQ1.
