The 16-color Space Quest III version contains some funny easter-eggs and jokes. If you happen to have found other ones, please send them to the e-mail address stated on the index screen.
In the intro, you can see the unknown robot, catch the pod from Roger Wilco. While you see him touching the buttons, look in the corner, to the south-west. You can see the signature of Mark Crowe
in the freighter, at the ship, which Roger will ste... borrow(i have forgotten the name), you can see some blocks on the right of it. Either they are parts of an orbital space station, or it's a toy for an over-sized child.
You can also see some ships from the movies. A Bow-Fighter(Tie-Fighter), and the Jupiter II from "LOST IN SPACE". Also, a ship from David Bowman, also lays in the freighter(from "2001: A Space Odyssey)
On Phleebut, fester has some postcards, from various planets. Also, a post card from Arrakis is one of them.
The Arnoid Annihilator droid bears a strong resemblance to Arnold Schwarzenegger.
At Monolith burger, you can see the Enterprise just leaving.
When you have eaten an Big Belcher Combo, and walk back to your ship, you can see Roger walk out of the ship, and throw up.
After you've saved the two guys, look at your computer, and go back to cockpit view. Scott will ask you something about the game
One of the aliens at Monolith Burgers could be Jabba the Hutt, from the Return of the Jedi.
The name of Roger's ship, the Aluminum Mallard, is a clearly a parody of the Millenium Falcon from the Star Wars movies (Submitted by Gary)
The Nuke'em Duke'em robots are a spoof of the children's toy of the
Rock'em Sock'em robots from the 1970s(Submitted by Gary).
At Scum-Soft, one of the two guys (on the left)walking down the aisles with the big whip is Ken Williams, founder of Sierra On-Line. The other one(on the right) is Rick Cavin, who is the Head of Producion at that time.(Thanks to the FAQ from Troels Pleimert, we saw this striking resemblance.)
