He was born on the most beautiful planet in the CorSec, Etti IV. It served as the Sector Lords' private estates. His mother was a high-priced joy-girl whose clients included Sector Lords. She became very rich, but squandered it on narcotic substances. His father was unknown to both, she had had many 'clients' and she wasn't all that picky as long as they could pay. She, like other professional prostitutes had taken the utmost precautions to avoid pregnancy. Yet she still got pregnant.
She tried finding the father, she sure didn't want a brat to take care of. The few credits she spared for this endeavor turned up nothing and the techs who did a genetic scan of her unwanted child, couldn't determine what species the father was. For some unknown reason she kept the child, maybe it was because she had been turned out of home when she was a teenager. No one knows, she never talked to her first and only born child about such things.
Because of the stigma of having a child and added to the result that she was a known drug addict she gradually fell down the ladder of success, ending up at the bottom at the lowest, sleaziest flophouse in a spaceport of Seti Prime. She began to blame her son for her fall from 'disgrace' and even tried to prostitute him when in the throes of withdrawal. He would run away when she was like that and began hanging out with a juvie-gang. He would eventually return home when his mother had had her fix and she would apologize for trying to pimp her son. This happened many times.
She provided for her son, barely. Clothing and food and that was it. As long as he was out of the quarters when she was 'entertaining' friends. Sometimes these 'friends' would abuse his mother and if he was nearby he would always try to put a stop to it. He didn't succeed at first. When he lost he would not only be beaten up by the 'friend' but also by his mother, for ruining her chance of getting paid. He didn't run from those beatings she gave out, he would take them, quietly, never crying out. He was usually quiet to begin with, but during those times he would get deathly still. This usually made her stop in frustration, because he would never cry out, in fact he never cried even as a baby.
Because of his position in life, he didn't have many friends growing up. Those who picked on him quickly learned that the other half of his parentage provided him with amazing strength, agility, endurance and intellect. He put it to good use in defending himself. They never bothered him again, at least singly. When they gathered up enough courage and friends they would gang up against him. Most of the time he was quick enough. To dissaude any further attacks on him he formed his own juvie-gang.
When his mother died when he was fifteen, from a drug overdose. He left and returned to his juvie-gang. Even though he was a malcontent he still went to school, he amazed his teachers with his knowledge of the matter being discussed. Having finished many courses, he grew dissatisfied with the juvie-gang. They were always looking out for themselves and had no ambition to better their lives.
He applied to the Imperial Academy. He was accepted and began taking courses, but soon learned that he would never rise to officer rank because of his mixed parentage. The pure-blood humans would call him 'Mutt' behind his back. Especially so since the first time someone called him that he challenged him and put him in a bacta chamber for a month.
He quit the Academy, rather than having to constantly deal with a 'glass ceiling' that wasn't even his fault. Since he was a CorSec citizen he went to school there where he knew how things were run. By money. Everything had a price, even one's soul. Because of his knowledge he had gleaned off the street and his classes he won a scholarship to go to the Logua Institute of Technology and majored in droid tech and minored in space vessl tech. Graduating at the top of his class he thought he had finally put his earlier life behind him as he was accepted to a prestigious droid/bot design firm on Bonadan.
It was not to be. A member of his former juvie-gang was caught and spilled his entire career, which implicated Kohr. The job offer was withdrawn as well as any other legitimate other businesses. He fled the Espos, the CorSec police and was finally offered a job by the Outlaw Techs.
The Outlaw Techs were a roving band of well-equipped and well-trained technicians who made their living by illegally modifying space vessels for fugitives, organized crime, and political opponents of the Empire and CorSec. They knew that Mr. Kohr had no love of the Empire and was a wanted man in any CorSec system and that he was a perfect replacement for a O.T. member that didn't make it out of the last ambush by the authorities.
He was watched for a while until he undoubtedly demonstrated his loyalty to the merc group. He also managed to meet his 'stool pigeon' friend and give him some payback. He found he liked the merc life. He learned a lot about technology from the Outlaw Techs that weren't covered in the holo-tapes at L.I.T.
Having finally earned his own credits he bought a ship and went off on his own. Having never been caught by Imperial forces his identity is safe in the Empire or the burgoening New Republic. But he was finally caught by a bounty hunter who turned him over to the CorSec Authority. After serving his time of ten years, he returned to his old outfit the Outlaw Tech and worked for them for a few more years to get enough money to buy another ship, one he helped design. This time they tried to make him stay with offers of better pay, equipment, etc. but he wanted to leave.
Because of his underground contacts and morbidly impressed by the bounty hunter who caught him and hearing the tales of all the other criminals who were caught by bounty hunters he decided to set himself up as a bounty hunter also.
Personality: Archeantus Kohr is a survivor. The innocent child of two species twisted and warped by his deadly lessons of childhood and youth to turn him into the man he is today. He is every bit the cold, emotionless mercenary everyone thinks him to be. It has served him well and gotten him through life, else he might have ended up like his mother or his juvie-gang members.
He feels nothing towards the Empire, except for some resentment about their genetic standards or against the Rebel Alliance. He feels that the Galactic Civil War and its aftermath are just one more opportunity for profit and avenue for adventure.
He is not without any saving graces. He does have a soft spot for children, droids and music. He tends to volunteer his services for free whenever he sees any child being abused, whether asked for or not.
