Well here it is, my DoomII page. Your probebly wondering why anyone would still write a DoomII
page - The answer is that DoomII still kicks every game on the planet with it's
gameplay, speed, plot, graphics, sound and fun. Although the graphics aren't state of the art
like Quake's but they're fast which is what is needed in a game, and I'm not one of
those people still with a 486, I have a Pentium 120mHz with 24mb of ram.
DoomII also kicks in a multiplayer game, especially in level 1 or in a small deathmatch level.
If you disagree with anything that I'm saying well that's matter of opinion and your the only
one who thinks that.
You can go to my download page and get my deathmatch wad file for
DoomII - It is small, easy kills and fun, but you have to know how to avoid the BFG - I'm
thinking of removing it, tell me if you think I should. It is based in one big centeral room
with some lights flickering so that other players are hard to see, it has small rooms around
the outside with one having a secret back. The big room goes up into the center so that you can
hide behind it to avoid the BFG. Out of pure luck nearly right in front of each of the small
rooms around the main room are small pillars that are perfect to shoot the BFG at since it
only has to go a small distance until it explodes. If you can avoid the BFG it is easy,
especially when you ar playing against players who can't. Have happy fraging, and believe me
you will get many frags in this map. The idea of this map came from a Hexen map I saw one day
which had the room going down rather than up and had the small rooms more hidden.
P.S. There are lots of ammo, weapons and health everywhere, it's a fight to the death.
