When UKM wrote to Giulio The Bastard, CB leader, we were a bit doubtful... Being UKM a CB fan, we decided to ask them to include in our new game sound-track some of their best songs. We expected a negative answer.... instead Giulio's letter was very kind and he gave us the permission to insert CB songs in our work. Thanx, Giulio ! CB are a ultra-fast, noisy hard-core band from Italy. All we can say is that CB are in music what ST is in software development : CB will shock you with their pessimistic wave and unbearable sound !

1) As you probably understand, many of the visitors of this page don't know C.B. ...
Can you describe in few words the C.B.'s style??
Our style is usually called "Filthy Fastcore Punk"... I don't like labels too much, but you know, our noise is quite varied, so it can be seen as Grindcore`, extreme HC, Punk/Grind, whatever... for me it's mainly a nihilistic expression of rage and violence.
That's the way I see it.

2)Do you recommend C.B.'s music to a weak-hearted guy??
Yeah, sure. I recommend him to play it loud, possibly with headphones!!!
It would be really nice for me to know that I managed to eliminate a human being simply throug band's noise. It's a distance killing. Cool!!!

3) Why, besides the harsh sound, Grind/HC is a musical gender disliked by many young people? I mean, why aren't boys & girls driven crazy by bands like BRUTAL TRUTH or DISTOPIA??
Well, most boys and girls are looking for melody, good feeling, positive vibrations... Some others enjoy to fuck their brain up with raves and Techno shit... There's only few brains able to understand the noise and enjoy it!

4) What have you planned for C.B.'s future??
We have some new records in the works coming out sooner or later. Here's the list:
- CRIPPLE BASTARDS/WORLD Split 7" (NAT Records)
- CRIPPLE BASTARDS/P.E.L.M.E. Split 7" (Havin'A Spazz Rec.)
- CRIPPLE BASTARDS "Live to hate people" 3" CD (Applequince Rec.)
- CRIPPLE BASTARDS "Misantropo a senso unico" LP/CD (co-production)

Besides there's still some line-up problems in the band and I think we'll change it again soon, so at the moment we're a bit stuck, we had to slow down a lot of plans. As soon as these problems will be cleared up, we'll try to get back playing live as much as possible...

5) And now the last question, this one about our game... what do you expect from a game like "Tha hel thanxgivin' company", in which the main character is John Gehenna (the biggest bastard in video-gaming history) and the sond-track include the most killing C.B. songs?
Well, I'm sure it'll be a totally awesome game. I hope there'll be enough gore, blood and violence and those who'll play wlii get the chance to kill, dismember and slaughter the enemy, committing the worst inhuman atrocities ever seen on video!! John Gehenna sounds cool, but what weapons will he get? I suggest to give him a big chainsaw and go the gut-ripping mayhem!!! GORE EVERYWHERE! C.B. soundtrack on a scenario of gore and bloodbath will be just perfect!
