1. Start with a 8.5x11 inches sheet of paper. |
2. Fold the middle fold. Unfold. |
3. Fold diagonally so you'll have a big triangle and beneath some "leftovers". Unfold. |
4. Fold the same way just to the other side. Unfold. |
5. Flip the paper and fold horizontally twards you. Use the middle of the X as pivot, and make the fold parallel to the lower/upper edge. Unfold. |
6. Flip back over. Now fold a fold named Praying Hands. All of this fold moves are shown HERE (click to see a series of pictures explaning how to fold it). |
7. This is after the Praying Hands fold. |
8. Fold the upper layer of the paper so to right point will be on the middle fold. |
9. Again, just do it to the left side. |
10. Fold the small triangle so the bottom outer line will be on the middle fold. Use the diagonal line as pivot. |
11. Do the same to the left side. |
12. This stage has two options: (1) Fold a the new triangle on top of the two triangles, or (2) Insert the 90 degrees corners of the two triangles into the the triangle, which is made of two layers (not including the two that it is folded on). Put the corners between the first and second layers. This is what I prefer to do, since it makes the plane tougher. |
13. Fold it to half, along the middle fold, smooth side in. |
14. Make the wings folds as shown. |
15. Set the dihedral angle as show in picture, that's the look from behind the plane. |
Flying tips:
This plane doesn't like wind so much.
Throw it level with or slightly up angle (according to the horizon).
