 *** NgSoundDemo 1.0x ***

The NgSoundDemo had announced on 23 April 1998. It is a wave mixer library for Windows CE. We had more than 30 beta testers. NgSoundEngineDemo was able to downloaded by any one. The bonus game is reserved for our registered beta testers and for beta testers who had reported their test results to us. We award them with more bonus games in a short while. Thoese ware what has been reported reported:

Mr.Sinclair Lee was the first person who applied to the beta test. He reported that it can't work on the Velo1 w/CE 2.0. After he downloaded the later version of our test release, NgSoundEngine worked on his Velo1 w/CE2.0.

Mr.Scott St. Pierre reported that it worked excellently on his Casio A-11 w/CE 2.0 and his HP620LX. There were no noticable delays, and many many sounds could be played at once. I see no problem with it on this first generation HPC with the 2.o upgrade, and I also ran it on my HP 620 which I am sure you did as well. It seems to work better on the Casio, as the 620 has a very loud volume, and the background hissing can be heard more.

Mr.Richard Lee reported, Everything runs fine on the VELO 1 with CE 2.0!!! I can play all the sounds and play two or more at the same time!!! The game also works fine and I like the sound effects and how there all jumbled up together...good job!!! But sometimes I have to reset the device since it sometimes cannot find the wave out put device and doesn't even work but after doing a soft reset everything works fine.

Mr.Fred Bouvry reported, my first beta test of the Wav mixer went great on my UK HP620LX. I could play up to 3 wav files at the same time with the demo. And I get a very good sound quality. And the game worked without any problems.

Mr.Matt Mets reported, I downloaded the demo version 1.01 of NGsoundTest and installed it on my Phillips Velo 1 (with CE 2.0) and it worked!

The man with name 'NutForNT' reported, the Sound Mixer Program itself works great on my Compaq C140 with CE 2. However, this might be a problem for novice users. While you are running the sound-mixer program and you suspend during the program I find that crashes about 5 seconds after turning the power back on with NG Sound Mixer Running.

Mr.Nathan Clevenger reported, I have a 2mb HP 300LX that I upgraded to CE 2.0.  I stored the program on my ATA Flash Card, and it worked fine with a few difficulties.  I had my device muted when I started the program, so I opened Control Panel - Sound and raised the volume.  The regular sounds worked correctly, but the mixer didn't function.  I closed it and reopened it and it worked.  The other slight problem was that the sounds didn't play immediately.  There was a short delay from the time that I hit the key to the time the sound played. That is probably because my machine was short on memory.

Mr.Art Harin reported, I tried running the NgSoundEngineDemo on a HP 360LX running Win CE 2.0 and service pak 1 installed. It would basically hang, when I selected a sound name it would only buzz. If I went to another app and then come back, it would then hang and require a reset.

Mr.Benoit d'Oncieu reported, I got a problem on your wave mixer library test program. After having installed the NgSoundEngineDemo application, I ran the WaveMixDemo shortcut on the desktop and I got the  Fatal Application Error message box.
