Briefing
Part I
After you found the treasure of Chief StuPidHed, you thought your life would settle down. Well, You were wrong.
Friday, May 15th.
You recieve a phone call. The conversation is below:
You: Hello?
Caller: Yes. This is Mr. White. I need to speak to you.
You: About what?
Mr. White: You recently found the treasure of Chief StuPidHed, did you not?
You: Yes.
Mr. White: Good. Go to the old warehouse on 13th street. Do you know where it is?
You: Yes, Why?
Mr. White: You will see. Meet me there at 7:00 sharp.
You: Okay.
As he hangs up, you get an odd feeling.
Well, this is nice. In addition to the 10% profit from the treasure, you get a strange phone call. "Oh well," you think. At seven o'clock, you are standing at the entrance to the warehouse. A man walks up. This is your conversation:
You: Are you Mr. White?
Man: Quiet! Spys may be anywhere! Come, inside.
You and the man walk inside the warehouse.
Man: Yes, I am Mr. White. I work for Interpol. We need someone with your
expertise to help with an amazon mission. Do you accept?
You: Well, umm...
Mr. White: Yes or No?
You: Yes.
Set deep in the Amazon rain forest, a small group of Mayan artifacts have been found. However, a group of terrorists known only as "The Dark Guild" are opposing the dig, as well as other archealogical sites around the globe. Your job is to stop them.
The main gameplay for Part II is complete, along with the core NPC code. I am now working on internal games, NPC dialogue, and save and load routines. Part II will be over twice as big as Part I, with over 162 locations, mulitiple-state NPCs (Non-Player Characters), and six games. Unfortunately, i haven't done much work in the last 2 months. Right now, (1-1-01) I think that the game will be done by December 1st, 7001. Check back here for another progress update.
