broccoli - 2
chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
turmeric powder - 1/4 tspn
salt - as needed
vegetable oil - 2 tspn
musturd - 1/2 tspn
black gram dhal - 1/2 tspn
Wash and cut broccoli into small florets
Heat oil in a frying pan, add mustard.
When it splatters add black gram dhal and fry until brown
Now add broccoli, salt, turmeric powder and chilli powder.
Spray some water on it. Keep in low fire for 5 minutes. Turn now and then.
Broccoli should not be over cooked. It should be crisp.
This can be used as a side dish for lemon rice.
