Web address
A web address is an address that directsyour web browser to go to.

This is an example of a web address:

Http://www.thisisawebsite.com/internet/web.html/#top

Http://www.  is the protocol
www.thisisawebsite.com  is the domain name.
.com is the domain
/internet is the path
/web.html is the document name
/#top  is the anchor


Web Errors
When you input a web address,sometimes you don't get the information of the webaddress.Instead, you get these strange numbers that pop up from nowhere.

Domains :
Domains are letters after the dot.ina web address. This term is used to organize what kind of web site it is.

Simple Domains:

Dot. Meaning
.com International Company
.edu Education
.gov Government
.mil Military
.net Internet-Related
.org Other, Nonprofit Organization
.html Personal Web page

Country Codes:
A country code is another domain that used for companies or peoplethatare (usually) not based in the US.
