Soooo..I'll start off with the story. \--------------------------------------------------------------------------/ I THE STORY OF EARTHBOUND ACCORDING TO THRASHNET I I GROUND ZERO 6 I /--------------------------------------------------------------------------\ You are Ness you live in the small town of Onett you are sleeping one fateful night when suddenly you hear a big *CRASH* you get up and you tell your mother you want to go check it out your Mother reluctanctly says it OK and you head out to find out that there is a meteorite that has just crashed west of your house yo go to Pokey's house (ignoring the idiot right outside his fence) and you find out from his brother Picky that Pokey has gone out to check out the meteor that just fell out of the sky. You trod along a dirt path leading to the top of the hill where the metoerite fell (Ignoring the officers). Saying hello to your buddy Lier X. Agerate and you find out at the top of the hill that your friend Pokey is already at the metoersite driving the cops nuts he tells you like a jerk to go away. You go back home your mother suggests that you should go to bed now. Curiuos as you are you decide to go to bed. The next time you are awakewned by a loud punding noise at the front door your sister and mother are up wondering who is knocking on the door your mother wants you to answer you start toward the door before you get there though Pokey barges in and says, "Llllisten to what I've got to say when I took Picky to the place where the metorite landed.. Oh, Hello maam you are as lovely as usual *SNICKER* anyway as I was saying when I took Picky to the metoerite place where it had landed the cops suddeny disappeared to go deal with the local ruffians you know the sharks then I noticed they were really going wild then when I turned around Picky was gone I certainly blame the cops it wasn't my fault at all when my family gets home I know I'm going to get it you are my BESTEST friend. Won't you Help me find Picky?! You say "no" just to see what he do. Pokey responds with faked Vehementence, "If you say ANYTHING to refuse my offer I'll say something that'll cut you like a knife!" You say "NO" again a little more annoyed. Then he says, "okay, Okay, I'll promise I wont hurt you!" You realize that this is going to be immpossible trying to get out of doing this with Pokey asking for it. So you say "Yes" to Pokey. He says, "Okay, good buddy! "Lets blow this popsticle stand before we go though don't you want to say "goodbye" to youre mother before we leave don't you agree maam!" You ask you're mother if its okay. She replies, "Okay I'll let you go on this adventure once but I think you should change out of your jammies before you go." You go and change while Pokey waits irritated outside, Finally you are ready you go downstairs and you ask you mother if you're cool just to be a fool. She says, "Yeah sure you're cool whatever, She Adds,"Oh and by the way before you leave take the Cracked Bat in Your Sister's room It might help out at a time like this, I know that you 're dog is unreliable but you should take him along No matter what anyone says you a thoughtful strong boy! Remeber to go for it!" You wake up your dog he OBEDIENTLY follows you. Pokey gets up and leaves with you but before you go out The phone rings Pokey is having a fit and wants you to answer it! So you go and answer it and it is your father he tells you to talk to him periodically in your adventure he can save your progress for you! At the end he adds, "I feel like I am such a hero well at least the father of a hero! Uwahaha!" (slam) *BEEP* You go out the door of your front porch then you see all the stray dogs you have no choice but to whack upside the head with a baseball bat that you got from your Sister's room. You decide you're not ready for this and go back to rest at your home with some of your favorite food of course POKEY doesn't get any! You venture out again and this time you make it up to the hilltop all the roadblocks are down and you talk to your buddy Lier he says that he thought that he heard a childs voice of the hilltop! Then he goes off on his ego trip! And you just leave him unconcerned you see Picky up on the hilltop and he tells you that Pokey got scared and ran off like a wuss! He joins you and when you are walking around the metoerite when Pokey says he hears a bee then you see a pillar of light flash and guess what appears a BEE! He can talk and he tells you of the impending disaster that an alien megalomaniac has sent everyone to the horror of eternal darkness (The meteorite landing here was an OMEN!). But he tells you of a known legend of a boy who finds the path of light and will ultimately destroy the megalomaniac the legend tells you that four kids that will confront him are 3 boys and 1 girl it is his bielive that you are that boy it is his beilief. He joins you and Pokey pipes up and says, "Three boys and..one girl I hope that I am not one of those three am I because I am not into this kind of thing at all OOOH! My heart is pounding right out of my chest!!! You go and see Lier one more time and he tells you whispering, "Ness, bud I have something to show you can you come visit me later alone!" WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!!! You continue along the path then you see another pillar of light appear right before you get to you're house something appears like the way Buzz-Buzz did, it is an alien who has come back to destroy your bee friend you find out that you are in one major battle here!! Possibbly the biggest fight you have ever fought has been waged and you find out from Buzz-Buzz (you're Bee Friend) that he came from ten years from the future he tells you that animals are also becoming violent due to the influence over the evil in Gigyas minds it is the truth he tells you. You go to Pokey's house because you're sick of hearing him whine so you go there and it turns out that his parents are already there his father gets him upstairs and yells at (you barely just keep from laughing) him then he comes down and tells you that he wants your family out of the neighborhood because he now lives in poverty becuase he has loaned your father a lot of money. His wife starts to whine about how good he is and buzz-buzz gets irritated and attacks his wife his wife smashes buzz-buzz and you listen to him tell you (with his dying words) that you must journey to different spots around the earth for your power to grow and he tells you of the first (called Giant Step) one you set out by yourself its dawn outside and you go to see what Lier has to show you he goes down in the basement you follow him he stops at a long narrow tunnel and shows you a strange yellow statue that looks like a short guy holding a dagger downward to the ground you notice that it is glowing strangely and the words Mani-Mani are engraved in cryptic letters on the base. You venture out having no idea of what awaits you on your long, winding, and fateful journey will take you! AND SO IT BEGINS!!!!!! ============================================================================ C O M P L E T E W A L K T H R O U G H NOTE: You may notice I am using a different style of headers here! I got so tired of doing this \------------/ that I am just doing this now. ============================================================================ (2 things I have to tell you first in the game you can buy whatever you want from any drugstore during any part of the game. But to do so you need to have an ATM card to withdraw money out of your account and you nedd to know how to find and use an ATM all hotels have an ATM and most stores have an ATM. Due to the fact that you have so much money in your account you cant buy many of the things at the beggining of the game I mentioned them in this Walkthrough when you should be able to buy everything.) (ALSO IF YOU WANT INFO ON HOW TO BEAT THE BOSSES GO TO THE BEAT THE BOSS SECTION!) Onett Wake up in the middle of the night. Go downstairs and talk to your mother she'll tell you to go upstairs and change. After changing travel down the dirt path and talk to Pokey and all the cops around the meteroite crash site. Then go back home and go to bed. You'll get waken in the night by a pounding at the front door its Pokey. He wants you to help him go find his brother no matter how many times you refuse he will still ask you to come with him. So go and talk to your mother and she will tell you to change out of your pajamas before you leave. After you change again go to the room in the hallway and open up the gift box in Tracy's Room it is the Cracked Bat equip it and go downstairs and talk to Pokey head for the door. But just before you get there the phone starts ringing Pokey won't let you leave without answering so just answer the phone and your dad talks to you he will tell you to call him periodically during your adventure he can make a recording of what you did. Anyway after thats over go and talk to your Pet Dog King, Peach, Sparky....or whatever you named him he will join you. Head out now to the metoerite site you'll find Picky there take him with you Pokey will stop you and tell you that he hears a buzzing sound. After he says this a pillar of light will appear over the meteorite A bee name Buzz-Buzz will join you. He tells you of the impending disaster at hand. Although Buzz-Buzz is now in your party you can't control him. Now head back down the dirt path to Pokey's house but before you do talk to the man standing right next to the hill that the meteor is on. Head back the way you came you won't be attacked at all. But just before you get to Pokey's house a little....green? (No wait a minute I think it was silver!!.....BAH! FORGET IT!!) man. He falls down from the sky and them he will attack you. After he is defeated Buzz-Buzz will tell you that he came from ten years in the future to kill him. He also tells you the tame animals are becoming wild. Anyway head back up to Pokey's house and it seems that both of Pokey's and Picky's parents are back. After the kids get yelled at. Buzz-Buzz tries to attack Pokey's mother. But she swats him and he falls to the ground go and talk with him. He will give you a 'Sound Stone' a VERY IMPORTANT item of the game. After he dies go outside the sun will rise. You may want to rest now at your house. Anyway visit the public library and talk with the woman behind the counter and answer yes to her question she will give you a Town Map. Press the X button to view it it shows you important places in Onett, sorrounding regions of Onett, and things about other cities as well. Now build up your expierence by taking out some of the gangsters that are near the arcade. If you die theere is no need to fear you can still play the game. Just build up your expierence until you learn Lifeup A. Then go back down to the arcade and beat up the guy that is standing guard at the back lot door of the arcade now go and challenge Frank. But when you do defeat him he will summon a huge mechanical freak to beat you up. Defeat it and then go and talk to Mayor Pirkle in City Hall he will give you the key to the shack. This item grants you access to the Giant Step behind the shack go and open up the shack it is located in the upper left corner of town. But before you do that go and look for your friends hideout it is right above the library to get in it go into the place where the kid with the gray hair is being look-out. Search in the trees directly below the club house you'll find a path in the woods that l leads to the tree house once inside go and talk to the kid in the red cap he will give you a Mr. Baseball Cap. Equip it for portection. Then go and buy new supplies in the drugstore. Go to the Travelers Shack which is located in the left corner in the subrubs of Onett. Once there talk to both of the guys standing outside go and open the door and then talk to both of them again one of them will give you a Travel Charm. Equip this for protection. Then head into the shack and go through the hole in the wall and then once outside again go to the cave just in front of you to end up inside of a cave that leadsto Giant Step. Giant Step: To travel through the cave: In the first room of the cave go all the way left (NOTE: They are some caves here in the sides of the walls but it is useless to explore them unless you want to get some items.) until you see a rope dangilng down near the left wall. Go up that rope. Then go right until you see another rope near a cave entrance go up that rope then headleft when on the next level until you see a cave entrance go out that entrance to go back outside. Here there is usaully a Magic Butterflie which will refill some of your PP when you chase it down. You can always enter the cave then exit again to get anothre magic butterfly. After youre done refilling your PP go left when putside untilyou see a cave entrance enter it. And then inside head right then up to go into another cave entrance. Head left in this room through the next entrance. Then in this room go up to the top level and talk to the shining spot. Then a monster will attack you. After you have beaten him go through the cave entrance where the shining spot was. Then in the next area go right up to the footprint you'll have a short memory flashback and your Sound Stone records the melody of Giant Step. After this is over head back out the way you came. Don't worry the enemies won't attck you. Onett: When you reach the exit to the cave a very angry and rather dumb Police Officer will approach you and ask you why you entered here when you are not supposed to answer anyway you like because it won't matter anyway you answer because he will still tell you to get your butt to the Police Station and then he will take off. (Man! You should have wasted him with your 9 Milli Gack!) After this is over go back to town rest up at the inn buy any nesscessary weapons or armor save your game then head dwon to the police station its in the lower right corner of the map. And talk to the man in the first room who has a goatee answer Yes to him. He will lead you to a room he'll tell you to challenge each of his 5 police men he doesn't give you much of a choice here. After you beat 4 of them not 5 the other 1 chickened out and ran away (WUSSIE!) Captain Strong will challenge you. After you beat him he will radiohis staff to let you through to Twoson. After buying some food (which I HIGHLY suggest!) head down through the road blocks but on your way to Twoson stop by the house on this path talk to the mouse in the center of the house she will give you one of her sons which can lead you to an exit in a maze or dungeon. Then exit the house and continue down along the path expect to be attacked by some Ramblin' Evil Mushrooms on your way. Don't let them Sporoize you. After you go all the way down south you'll find an exit head into it it leads to Twoson. Twoson: First thing go get a bicycle from the bicycle shop. Then withdraw $200 and have something to eat and go to Apple Kid's house. Apple Kid's house is in the south part of Twoson go into the Red One not the orange one and talk to Apple Kid. He will ask you for something to eat. Give it to him then he will ask you to invest some money in his inventions. Pay him the $200 and one more thing make sure that you go to Apple Kid and not Orang Kid because Orange Kid is too hung up on his rep and the item that he gives you breaks down after one use and he will never make anything again. Anyway head up the street that Apple Kid's house is on. then turn right you'll come to an off road path that leads to a cave that leads to Peaceful Rest Valley. Peaceful Rest Valley: You can't do much here now just go up northwards until you hit a Pencil Shaped statue. Check it out with the check command then head south back to the cave go through the cave back to Twoson. Twoson: As soon as you get here apple kid will call you with a new invention called the Pencil Eraser. Don't go to his house go to Burglin Park he is waiting for you there. (Also now might be a good time to beat up Mr. Everdread if you haven't already.) Look for him at the very bottom of the park. After he gives you the Pencil Eraser head back to Peaceful Rest Valley. Return to Peaceful Rest Valley: As soon as you are on the outside of the cave leading to it. Go north until you reach a bridge cross it. Then head right then head down you should see a opening to a higher cliff go on top of the cliff and head to the left. Now here are 2 roads take the left one. Then go down past the broken bridge then go right then cross another bridge then go north then head left to get a Hard Hat at the end of the trail in the giftbox. Then head back right onto a higher cliff. Go down following the path ignore the left passage. You'll come to a grove with a cave leading to Happy Happy Village. Happy Happy Village: In the cave leading here there are some enemies but all the enemies are insane cultists very easy. But it can be annoying whne they dodge all of your attacks. Anyway once you get to Happy Happy Village go to the Drugstore and buy new items and weapons. Then notice the stand right below the house below the drugstore you can take items from here and get away with it just don't talk to the guy standing behind the tree. Then there is a cave right next to the drugstore go into the cave and when you come out you should be next to a house go into it talk to the girl she is Paula the same girl that talked to you in your dreams in Twoson she seems to be locked in the chamber and she will give you an item that is nesscessary to defeating Carpainter (it deflects lightning attacks). When you exit the cabin Pokey will approach you and leave with at least 4 enemies to beat. All the enemies are are Crows and Cultists. After you are done here go back into Happy Happy Village. Then go to the cult office its in the center of town. In the Cult Office looks for the fast moving Occultist and talk to them they will move out of your way. Make your way through this maze by doing this. If you want the directions they are....head left from the netrance and tak to the occultist in the upper row near you. Then follow the path and talk to the cultist at the ned of the path then head left then talk to the cultist at the left. He will attack you dispose of him and head to the eit go up the stairs in the next room and then talk to Carpainter. He will trick you no matter what you say and then try to fry you. Then you will enter a battle with him. Beat him and he will give you the Key to the shack where Paula is being held when you get back downstairs everyone has left the Cult Office. When you exit the building Pokey will come up to you and run off. Go rescue Paula from the cabin then go to the Department store and equip Paula with a Weapon and a Bracelet and Ribbon. Then head south until you see a hole in the wall. Go through it it leads to the Lilliput Steps... Lilliput Steps: It would be a good idea to fight enemies until Paula has a fair expierence level or she'll die before anything else. First of all go south then head right around the lake and then down all the way south to hit a Present inside is a Great Charm. Then go back up to the higher cliff then head right then down when you come at 2 roads. Then head right then head up when you see a second lake keep on goin up until you hit a wall then head left then go south when you see another opening turn and proceed left go north then when you see another lake in front of you take the LOWER path. Keep on heading along that path to hit the Shiny Spot. When you talk to the shiny spot a Mondo Mole will attack you beat him then go through the exit to end up at the Lilliput Steps. Record the melody and then go back to the village. There isn't much left to do here. Just go back to Twoson. Twoson: Return Paula to her Polestar Preschool make sure she is conscious or her dad won't notice that she is there. After he does see her go upstirs to her room to get another teddy bear. When you exit the Preschool one of Everdred's men will be waiting for you. He has got something for you when he sees you he will give you $10,000. Then go to the Chaos Theater and talk to the 2 guys who are standing right next to the side of the theater. He will give you a backstage pass. Go into the theater and show the attendant your ticket. Then go into the theater adn go into the door on the right. A girl will follow you in if you talk to her. When you are done talking to the Runaway Five. Exit and the show will begin and after it is over go and talk to the manager. And use the $10,000 dollars there the Runaway Five will be now free from thier debt. (Man that SUCKED you had to give away so much money.) Now might be a good time to return your bicycle. Go outside the theater and talk to the Runaway Five member standing right outside the bus he will give you a ride to Threed. Threed: This place seems really gloomy at first glance. Anyway, first off go and buy weapons and armor over at the Drug Store. Save your game. And head up to the upper right hand corner of town which is home to a graveyard and a lot of enemies. Anyway go up here until you see a path in between trees go right until a pair of zombies stare at you. Now go back to the hotel you'll see a very beautiful (HOT) chick outside of the hotel. Follow her inside into one of the rooms. You'll be attacked by ghosts and zombies and the next thing you now you are in a jail in the graveyard. You go to open the door but you find that it is locked. Paula will send a psychic message to a friend you have never met before in Winters named Jeff. Winters School Boarding House: First off wake up after recieving that strange dream. Exit this room a friedn of yours will join you. Outside go left and into the room right next to yours and pick up all the gifts in that room. Then exit. Go down the stairs then go into the first room on the left talk to the guy in there (Maxwell) he will give you a key to open the lockers with go to the room right next to you face a locker and try using the key it won't work. Go back to Maxwell he will give you a 'Bad key Machine' (You little...... Muther Fuddrucker!!!) after that go back into the room you were just in and open up all the lockers to get a Holmes Hat, a Pop Gun, and I think a Cheap Bracelet. Equip these items then head through the farthest door on the right it leads outside. Use your friend as a step to get over the gate. Once outside head to the nearby store on your right enter it. Once inside talk to the woman standing next to the counter and pay her a buck for a pack of bubble gum. then talk to the monkey at the door he will join you. (You need this monkey for getting across the lake.) When youre outside head south until you are right next to a lone tree then head left when you get to a group of 3 trees head south then head right when you hit a dead end once you see a lone tent go south then left you should see 2 tress next to each other then head south until you see a cluster of 3 trees then head right until you see a big cluster of trees go up and around them and then south until you see another tent head left and then enter the farthest tent to the left and eat some stew and sleep. When you wake up go outside head right until you hgit another big clustewr of trees then go down onto the small bay there. The bubble monkey will want gum give him some and he will summon Tessie and you will gt across the lake to another shore. Once you land on the shore go south past a cluster of 3 trees until you hit a Iron Pencil you can't remove it now so just enter the nearby cave. Once you are in the cave head down past the 3rd row of stones and head left, go down, go left, go up, go left, go down, go left where you see the gift box, go up, go left, go down, go right, go up and get the gift box, go down, left, up, left, down, right, down ignoring the first opening, go right, go down, go left out of the cave (Note: there are some boxes here but its a waste of time to get them cept for the one I mentioned.) Once you are out of the cave you will met a man by the name of Brick Road. He is the one who created the dungeon you just went through. He will give you an oppurtunity to sleep take it. After thios go south until you see another cave enter it. Head right in this room and open up all the gift boxes in this cave. Head right again in the next room and then in the next room go up the 1st rope you see then head up the next rope open up the gift box here. Then go back down to where you were. Head left then go up the next rope by giving the monkey some bubble gum he will float up to a rope and lower it for you. Go up it and go up the next one. Ignore the shiny spot you can't do anything at all to it with just Jeff. Head left to the exit outside your monkey will find his love interest and leave you to find your way to Dr. Andonuts lab. Go south from here try to find any at all caveman you see you will reach Andonuts lab. Andonuts Lab: See that Machine at the north end of the bottom floor go up and check it you will be comnpletely revitalized. Then go upstairs from here. And open the gift box you'll see there. (I forgot to mention this but Jeff can reapir items that are broken according to what his IQ level is when you go to sleep at an inn. For the IQ chart check out the "BROKEN ITEMS THAT JEFF CAN REPAIR" section.) Anyway go up and talk to that dude with the goatee he is Dr. Andonuts. After you are finished go up to the big UFO looking contraption to head to Threed. But it doesn't work until you press a button on your controller. This only happens every so often usually it starts up automatically. CMON ANDONUTS MAKE SOMETHING THAT WORKS!) Once the FMV sequences (I guess you could call it FMV) with the Sky Runner end. You'll crash into the graveyard at Threed. Threed: Escape using the Bad Key Machine Jeff has on the lock. Once you get outta here go back to the Department Store and buy items for Jeff. Also the guy behind the hospital will sell you Jeff's Weapons. Now, go down all the way south to a mysterious looking tent try to enter it and it will attack you. After you have beaten it. You'll find a trash can inside of the tent check it you'll find A bottle of FLY HONEY inside. Then walk around until Apple Kid Calls you over the Reciever Phone with a new invention 'Zombie Paper' it is used much like fly paper and is used to capture wandering Zombies. Set it on the floor of the tent in the center of the town then go to a room at the hotel you'll see another sequence in which all the zombies go to the tent. In the morning go outside and talk to every one at the tent (NOW wouls be a good time to save your game because they are a lot of strong enemies just around the corner.) Then go up to the northwest graveyard and then go where the Zombie Guards (remember them) were guarding the entrance to the Belch Base they won't be there go inside. There isn't really alll of that explanation to the directions in this place but check out the 2nd casket you see. Then head along at the end of this cave you will run into Mini-Belch he will attack whether or not if you have the Jar Of Fly Honey. Beat him and go up the rungladder to the Grapefruit Pathway. Grapefruit Pathway: The man you first see outide here will sell you items but he will only be there for that time you exit there. Anyway, go north until you see a cave entrance enter it and then go right ignoring the first door you see along your way and go through the 2nd door you see then go staright in the next room (DUH!!) You'll end up in Saturn Valley. Saturn Valley: First off, go to the doctor in the house to your right, when you you are entering Saturn Valley.... Chances are a couple of people are sick, members are dead after you are done go and sleep at the Inn. It is to the left of the hospital. (Every service is free here except for the items of course...so don't worry!) after this go at the very north of town. Stock up on supplies & weapons at the Drug Store which is located in the upper left of town. Then go back into the cave you went through to get to the Drug Store. Talk to all the Mister Saturns there. And then go back to the Grapefruit Falls. GrapFruit Falls: Expect a photographer to fall down right when you're next to the waterfall. After he is gone enter the waterfall and walk left til you can't anymore then press up you should see a message saying "Say the password!", then wait for 3 minutes. The door will open. When inside tell the blob yes! And then walk past him and down a ladder then head left ignoring all of the other doors, until you come to a door that is already opened, enter that door, talk to the big blob in front of the other door he is Master Belch, he will attack you...after he is_well_squashed go back the way you come entering all of the doors in this factory and getting all of the items, then head out thedoor that Master Belch was guarding. Follow the passsage until you are outside, then go and walk around in the pool of pink water the screen will get brighter and brighter until you recieve a message that you are refreshed. Then talk to Mr. Saturn standing next to the tree stump with a_cup?_on it say Yes to him and you'll see a summary of your travels scroll onscreen, after it is over. Go back to the cave below the Drug Store and talk to all the Mr. Saturns some of them will give you defensive items. Then go back to the pink pool of hot water and go into the north cave to the right.... Pathway to the Milky Well: It isn't really all that hard to get to the Shining Spot but it is hard getting past all the more powerful enemies here! Hey, you were warned things must get harder. Anyway follow the path. Go right in the cave, go down then right in the outside area. Then enter the cave, open the Gift Box in her then head to the right to the shining spot. After you beat the Trillonage Sprout head back to Threed. Threed: The sun is shining. "Let the sunshine in! Let the sunshine in!.." *ahem* sorry about that I am kinda giddy!! Anyway make sure you have some money then head to the front of the hotel and look for the bus stop sign farther down the street and hit the Check command the bus SHOULD appear, unless you are standing in the street, in that case stand on the sidewalk! Take the bus.... Dusty Dunes Desert: ARRGGGH!! ^&$# bus drivers! You'll get stuck in Rush hour traffic here and you'll be stuck out here in the desert. Anyway, watch out for sunstroke her as well as four legged animals anyway go first to the Store which is to the left you should spot it soon. In there buy one food item, and all the Weapon and Defense upgrades. Then go north around the rocks and look for a hole in the ground with a monkey standing next to it. Go in the hole and talk t the guy in white to the left then exit. Then head right, you should come to a shack with a miner next to it. Talk to the miner and give him some food. Then head right again until you hit an ocean then head down you will be at the exit to Fourside. Fourside: Follow the road you are on take no turns, you should be at the Monotli building. Go inside then go in the elevator talk to the operator she will let you go to the upper floor when at the upper floor exit the elevator and go into the door, not the elevator. Then go to the first door that you see and enter it Pokey is in here talk to him and he will throw you out then go to the Topolla Theater and buy a Show Ticket for $30. Go and talk to the manager she is in the room where the entrance is located in the left wall of the room you are now in. Then go and visit the Runaway Five. The entrance is on the left wall of the show room. Talk to them all then watch thier show and exit the Theater. Go back to the Dusty Dunes Desert..... Dusty Dunes Desert: Its better that you enter here on foot that way you are closer to the miner's shack. Enter the hole the man has dug you have learned from him that a maze has appeared and that it is full of monsters and 5 big moles. (All of these moles claim to be the average strengthed mole.) Anyway, go and rest in the shack next to the hole, and then head into the Desert Maze.. Desert Maze: Inside, from the entrance go up until you reach a dead end and a hole enter that hole climb down the ladder and go to the left and meet the first mole (the entrance is right next to the left ladder) all of these moles claim to be the average one. Beat the first one. Exit through the ladder on you're left, go south and ignore the first opening, then go left around the wall when you reach the end go up ignoring the opening you see here and go into the hole at the end of this hall. Go left, up and right to go around the wall the ladder is on, and meet the second mole, after you beat him take all of the presents here. Then exit the way you came. Go south until you see the opening you ignored before, go into it. Then at the 4 way croosroad with the mice head up ignoring the ladder you see on the way and run into the third mole, beat him and leave and go back to the 4 way crossroads go left then down this time, then head along the path to meet the 4th mole, beat himn and go back to the 4 way crossroads, head south then follow the path at the end you should meet the 5th and final mole, beat him and collect all the prizes and then exit at your leisure (no more monsters will attack). From where youre at go back to the 4-way crossroads go to the right ignoring the northward opening follow the path when you run into another 2-way crossroads take the right onethen head south at yet another 2 way crossroads. And go through the hole, to go back outside.... Dusty Dunes Desert: Find and talk to the miner and then head back to the bus stop and take the bus into Fourside, along the way the miner's dad (I guess its his Dad??) will stop you and give you a_HUGE_diamond. With this you now have a way to save the Runaway Five.... Fourside: Buy a show ticket at the counter of the Topolla Theater and go to the Managers office, Show her the diamond from behind her desk (that is, use the diamond from your inventory while you are standin right next to her behind the desk.) She'll let the runaway five go, then go into the theater and watch thier final performance with that hot chick Venus. Then head to the department store at the right side of town. Stock up on weapons equip them and exit but before you make it to the exit THE LIGHTS GO OUT...and..A STRANGE ALIEN SNATCHES PAULA AWAY!!....**EEEEKKK!**. Anyway, head up all the floors of the store (expect to be attacked by vicious gift boxes) and enter the door to the office on the left side of the fourth floor go in the office and talk to the strange but stupid, alien sitting in the chair, he will attack, you beat him. Then he will teall you that Pauala is with Monotoli. Go to the cafe (Jackie's Cafe) in the northwest quarter and go inside and talk to everyone then go outside, you'll see Everdred injured on the ground sorrounding by people. Talk to the little #^$ adolescent kid in black and give him some food and talk to Everdred. He will tell you that Mayor Monotoli has stolen the Mani Mani Statue from him, and he will tell you to check behind the counter of Jackie's Cafe. Go and check behind the counter after he is through with his *sob* emotionally wrenching poem. When you check behind he counter you will be swept off to a X dimension called "Moonside" Moonside: Firstoff, a few things I have to say about this place, this place is an exact representation of Fourside except that EVERYTHING..I mean.. EVERYTHING!!-is backwards, even the language is backwards Yes means No, and No means Yes, I guess its the local dialect. Anyway, from the cafe exit it, and go to the hotel outside you should see a man talk to him and he will warp you to a man who is guarding something talk to him, and go back to thE man outside the hotel he will send you to a Gift box open it and then talk to to the man there, you will be magically and very very quickly and strangely sent to a another place with a another gift box take it and talk to the man there say 'no' when he asks you then you'll find yourself in a doorless room walk on the right side of the room ignoring the man until an invisible man asks you can you say me? Reply no. Then talk to the other man whom you ignored before he'll kick you out into the hotel exit the hotel. Follow the street this way go right and then down you'll should be next to the musuem, then go down the right side of the Monotoli building until you reach a man blocking the path and then talk to him he'll run off to have some drinks with the gold-toothed man...LOOOOOOOSSSEEER!! Then go down to where the man is in front of the statue in front of the building, talk to him he will disappear (he is Monotoli even if he says he isn't. Whatta Coward!!) then check out the statue it will attack beat it and you'll wake up from the illusion that the statue has created..it wasn't a statue at all just a device that creates illusions. As soon as you exit the warehouse here, you'll get a call from Apple Kid he has created a new device called the Yogurt Dispenser. As soon as you exit Jackie's Cafe you'll meet up with a worthless high school flunkie who has dropped your package from Apple Kid down a hole in the desert. So go to the Bus Stop hop on a bus and ride back into the Dusty Dunes Desert. Dusty Dunes Desert: Go and buy a Skip Sandwich, and a Picnic Lunch over at the Department Store, you'll see shy later. From the bus stop head north around the rocks til you see a hole enter it its the hole where the dumb little ^*&$ dropped your package.... Talah Rama's Cave: In these caves you will enter mushrooms and sprouts but they are at this point no big pain. From the entrance from the outside enter the hole on the far left, in the new room talk to the monkey on the left give him a Picnic Lunch, in the new room get the Pizza from the chest, then exit to the left and give the monkey on the left in this room the Pizza you just got enter the hole she leaves get another pizza from the chest, exit to the left and talk to the monkey there to get a fresh egg. Go back to the first room with the 2 monkeys, this is where you started out now talk to the monkey on the right and give him a Skip Sandwich. Enter the hole he leaves, get the wet towel from this new room and go back to where you started now enter the hole to the left here, go to the left entrance in this room talk toi the monkey in this room give him a wet towel, then enter the hole he leaves in this room open the 2 chests and go back to where you started take the right hole next to the monkey go to the left entrance in this room and then then talk to the monkey on the left give her a Pizza, go in the hole she leaves open the chest in this room then head back to the other room you were just in talk to the monkey on the right give him a Portien drink that you had just got, enter the hole he leaves get the Hamburger in the new room and head through the left exit, you'll be in a fairly large room now go and talk to the monkey on the far left give him a ruler then enter the hole he leaves then talk to the monkey in this room to get the *fanfare* King Banana. Go back to the start now. (I refer to the holes that the Monkeys were guarding as M holes now.) Enter the right M hole here, go left to the exit in this room, enter the left M hole here, go left to exit this room, talk to the monkey on the right in this room to give him the King Banana after he moves out of the way go into this hole, pick up the 2 chests in this next room and go to the left exit and enter it. In this room there is a pencil statue just like the one in Twoson use the Pencil eraser to erase it then enter the hole it leaves in this room talk to the floating arab guy and then pick up all the chests. Talah Rama will ask you if you want to learn Teleport say Yes....DUH! He will then give you the Yogurt Machine. Find your way out of this maze (it won't be that tough) and get back outside. Dusty Dunes Desert: Follow the monkey out to the street and talk to him he will teleport for a demo then you'll do it you'll become conscious of this power (that is you can use it now...a good thing to since they are no buses up in the later places.) At this point I would reccommend you to go to Winters buy some new weapons at the Drugstore and then teleport back to Fourside.... Fourside: First off, go to the area around the Monotoli Building and look around the area, a maid of Monotoli's should be to just to the south of the entrance. Talk to her and she will take the Yogurt Dispenser and this will gain you access to the elevator that leads up to Monotoli's office. Now enter the Monotli Building and take a ride on the elevator on the left wall. Then head acros this room to the right wall which has another elevator enter it and a woman a friend of Electra's (Monotoli's Maid) will take you up to his offices. Monotoli's Offices: Expect to be attacked by Sentry Robots which ask you for a password in ten seconds or they'll atttack there is no password so try to avoid them. First off exit the elevator, and go through the door on the left. In this room go into the 3rd DOOR you see...not the third BATHROOM door. In this room, go into the door on the north wall. In this room head into the left door, in this room take the FIRST door on the right on the upper wall, you have some options here you can go up into the Seervant's Room which is behind the upper door, or you can go tangle with the Clumsy Robot. If you do go into the Servant's Room talk to her she'l give you some Trout Yogurt. Then go and tangle with the Clumsy Robot, the Runaway Five will pay you a visit during this fight and they'll "kill" the robot for you. After they have done this "murder." Enter the double doors and scare the livin' ^$&# out of Monotli first go and talk to Paula then go and talk to Monotli some more he will let you use his helicopter he'll open a secret passge go into that passage go acroos the hal and into the door once you get near it It starts up and flies away and it is piloted by none other than Pokey (that little...&*$^&#$$) he insults you then flies away. Go back to the office try to exit then Paula will say we must go to Threed. Exit the office for good and the Runaway Five will let you use thier van to get to Threed...... Threed: Once you get here, the Runaway Five will give you a **sniff** **sob** tearful farewell. After all the blubbering is over go up to where the Sky runner crashed in the Graveyard go down the steps to the basement you'll find that some kids have painted the Sky Runner Jeff will examine the problem and find it and fix it then you'll board the Sky Runner for Winters. (You'll enjoy another 16-bit "FMV" sequence here as well.)...... Winters: Dr. Andonuts will have to modify the Sky Runner to take you to Summers after that meet his new caveman friend who will sell items to you. Then head up to the Rainy Circle Cave... Rainy Circle Cave: The cave is north of Stonehenge. Enter and find the shining spot it wont be to far. Go and check it out and fight Shroom!!! Beat him and go through the hole to the Rainy Circle after this go back to Winters... Winters: Andonuts will have finished modifying the Sky Runner get in and take off to Summers... Summers: The prices here are high! And so is the Temperature. First of all go buy more and better accessories at the 'Shop'. You'll break your budget here for sure so don't be worried if you lose all of your money. Now get the Stoic Club Phone Number go into a house near the captain's dock and talk to a black haired man wearing a...blouse?? He will give you the number find a phone and call the club to make a reservation. Once inside the club talk to everyone then go and talk to the woman standing near the exit to get and eat some Magic Cake (go to the stand right in front of the shop) and you'll be magically transported to Dalaam... Dalaam: After your master give you his message that you must go and take your final test head to the right and out of the castle. Follopw the dirt path all the way down til you can't go down anymore then head to the right talk to the guy atanding at the bottom of the ropes then when he leaves climb up the ropes and sit down on the mountain ignore all of the messages you recieve until a face comes down and encases you. Answer yes to every question it has for you at the end of the questions the face will disappear and go back to the castle and talk to your master again, you will then go back to Summers.... Summers: After Poo joins you go to the Cultural musuem and go upstairs and give the guard guarding thwe door to the remodeling exhibit a gem so you can enter the door. Expected to be attacked by some shattered men check out the plaque in front of the big stone and read it then start to leave the exhibit the guard will give you a Hieroglyph Copy should you talk to him. Head back to the first room of the musuem and by the way did you catch the guy in the exhibit before this room? What was he doing or saying? If you know send me e-mail about it ok? (tgz6@yahoo.com)...anyway go back to the first room of the musuem and pick up the ringing phone and talk to Mr. Spoon the curator of the Fourside musuem will talk to you about a manhole in the musuem that has a strange light emanating from it, go outside now and teleport to Fourside. Fourside: First off, go to the Fourside musuem, talk to the white guy with the white shirt on in the leaft of the first exhibit. Now go to the Topolla Theater and buy a Show Ticket and then go backstage to meet Venus talk to her and she will give you an Autograph on a banana peel. Now go back to the musuem and give the curator (Mr. Spoon) the Banana. He will let you in on the Shining spot in the manhole, enter the door he moves out of the way of and go down the hole here.... Magnet Hill Sewers: Go down the ladder on the right in this room and into the water you will go slower but there will be less enemies and obstructions in your way. Follow the water path to the right when you reach the 3rd room go up one of the ladders to the left to get out of the muck, then go near the ladder with the shining spot and check out the shiny spot you will be attacked by the Plague Rat of Doom, beat him, and go up the ladder to record the melody of Magnet Hill and go open the chest here, its a Carrot Key you'll use it later. Go back down into the hole and go itno the door here in this room and check out the trash can here to get the broken bazooka. Then head back through the level here and go back into the Fourside Musuem.... Fourside: After exiting the hole go and exit the musuem and, teleport to Dalaam.... Dalaam: Go to the very south of this land and turn left to a group of raabbit statues stand next to them and use the Carrot key, they'll disappear and the way to the Pink Cloud will now be open.... Pink Cloud Cave: At the entrance go up the rope here, and then go up the next rope, then head left to fall down a hole, then head left in this room and drop down into the third hole, take the present here, drop down the hole in this room, then go lef tin this room to the Shining Spot, check it and Thunder and Lighting will attack, beat them, and head into the hole they leave, record the melody and drop down the hole in th previous room, and open the present here, then go right and go up the rope ladder, at the top go right, and in this new room go right all the way to the exit. When you are out again, teleport back to Summers..... Summers: Make sure you have at least $80 on you, then go over to the port and talk to the guy standing right next to a brightly lit boat, he'll charge you $80 bucks for the lot of you if you want to go to Scaraba. Say yes get on thwe boat watch the sequence on the boat after the sailor gets sick, the Kraken will raise its ugly head and attack. Beat him, and head to Scaraba.... Scaraba: After you exit the boat go to the Market Place and stock up on weapons, and other items. Then exit the town through the southeren Gates (it might be a good idea to take some money along with you since you can buy weapons when you exit the upcoming Pyramid. Go to the right coast and then go down until you reach the pyramid with the closed gates. To get in, talk to the sphinx first then stop on the circle nearets to you. From here go down and to the left to hit that circle, then go up and right to hit a next circle, then go left and hit the next circle, then go down and right then go back to the front of the Sphinx and the hit the circle right in front of the Sphinx (You have just made a big star pattern.) Then after you recieve the message now go into the door on the front of the pyramid that is now open..... Scaraban Pyramid: Inside of the pyramid go right all the time until you reach a dead end room with a square tile step on a square tile and then exitm the room, then go back to the coffin room by going left 3 times until you reach it. When you are there you'll notice that the coffin has moved aside revealing a hole jump into that hole. Then go up the steps into this room and face the pillar and press the L button to check it out you'll get the Hawk Eye. Go right until you reach another dead end room, with a hole jump into the hole and then go to the right int this room and the next to reach the exit..... Scaraba: Right when you are about to leave the walkway the Starman will appear and take Poo away. After this go and talk to the warrior and he will give you a key to the huge structure up north that you are about to visit. Then go and talk to the guy by the camel, he will sell you new weapons and items (hope you brought some cash). Then head northwest until youi reach a huge stone statue in the shape of a huge man. Use the key to enter the statue....... Dungeon Man: Go north from the entrance right, up and then left (ignoring the pathway) go up beside the pathway, left, down, left, (ignoring this next pathway) go up beside the pathway. And when you reach for ropes go up the 3rd from the left. Go down all the way til you hit a wall, then go left til you see an opening then go up until you see a rope dangling down go up that rope, then go up until you see another rope go up that one. In this room go right, go down and go onto the small opening of a path, follow this path until you hit a rope go up it. In this room go up and talk to the face in the wall. Then go down and then go down the open hole, find your way out by jumping down through the holes you see on your way, once youre back at the entrance, exit.... Scaraba: Brick road will now be going with you (Hear that funky music in the background!!). Walk south until Brick Road gets caught in the trees then go and talk to the warrior on the right side of this part of the desert then enter Brick Road one last time..... Dungeon Man: Find your way back up to the face in the wall and this time take the hole that was blocked off before (the Goodbye Exit). Open up the present on the first floor to get a Talisman Ribbon. Then follow the path to Brick Road's gadget collection and examine the Yellow Submarine. Jeff will fix it. And you'll be heading for Deep Darkness.... Deep Darkness: First take a rest for free at the Monkey's Inn talk to the monkey near the trees to enter. After this, go right and then down into the dark opening use the Hawk Eye when it gets really dark. Go down past the man snorkeling then go left past the swamp next to the helicopter (looks familiar to the one in Fourside....HMMMMMMM???) Then go up when you reach some more dry land when you hit the deep swamp go right then up through the narrow path through path thru the trees. You'll be attacked by Master Belch from Saturn Valley only now he calls himslef "Barf" but you can call him a "dead Mudder Fudducker." Squash him for good. During the fight Poos joins you once again. After the fight with Barf is over. Go up and to the left until you reach dry land again and see a cave go into the cave to enter the Tenda Village..... Tenda Village: Go in and go all the way to the left end of the cave and talk to the Tenda that is rather talkative. Then exit the cave. You'll recieve a message from Apple Kid right when you leave. He is working on his Eraser Eraser Machine. When all of a sudden someone *gasp* kidnaps him. Soon as this "distressing" phone call takes place Orange Kid calls you and tells you that Apple Kid has the Book on "Overcoming Shyness". This could help out the Tenda Tribe. It seems that the kidnap situation has gotten just a bit more serious (heh, heh). So head back to Winters now. Winters: Find your way to Andonuts Lab and enter it inside go and talk to Apple Kids pet mouse. He will give you the Eraser Eraser machine. With this go back outside and go up to Stonehenge. And go through the little hole you see in the center of the stone formation..... Stonhenge Base: From the ladder go down it and through the cave in this next room go up to the eraser statue. And use the Eraser Eraser the statue will disappear. Then go down until you see an opening go into it. Go up the stairs here and then go right at the square area in this room. Follow the path to another door go into it. Go down and to the right in this new room thru the next door. Go down here, right when you see 2 square platforms, and when on the 2nd of the 2 go down and to the left thru the next door. In this big room just follow the lower path when faced with 2 choices to take. When you go thru this next door you should be in a room with purple walls. Go down from the door take the ladder down herehead right when you reach a new platform and keep on going right until you hit another ladder then go down this one (this ones LONG). Then head down another ladder then go right thru a door to the room where the Exit Mouse live. After exiting this room you should be in a room with flashing lights. Go right up when you see yet another path. Follow that path until you see some fencing, go around the fewncing and to the right to exit this room. You'll be in the room where all of your kidnapped friends are held captive in glass tubes. You can't do much to them except talk to them while thier in the tubes, you can go into the next room and challenge Starman DX by talking to the silver robot in front of a globe. He will attack. He is easy. After you beat him the base quits functioning and now you can go and talk to Apple Kid now. He will say that he returned the book to the Onett Library. (Little..%&*#*). (Well, that was a BIG waste of time....heh heh heh). Also while here talk to all the characters some of them will give you helpful items (like Mr. Saturn). Finished now...exit the maze (use an exit mouse) and go outside and teleport to Onett.... Onett: Ahhhh....came back to visit your mom, huh?? (WIIIIMMMMPPP!!!) At any rate, go and visit the library and go out to each one of the section of books in the bookcases press the L button while standing in front of it to find the Overcoming Shyness book! You may not find it in the first section you look at. Go to another section and look at the books to find it. When you find it go outside and teleport back to the Tenda Village... Tenda Village: Okay so it telported you to the outside of the entrance to the village enter anyway. When inside talk to the leader then while facing him, pick the "Shyness Book" from inventory and use it. He will read everyone the book. When you wake up in the morning, go and talk to the Tenda next to the table with a cup on it (don't talk to the chief). Say yes to him and another summary of your adventures wil scroll onscreen. After this go and talk to the Tenda next to the rock he will lift it up giving you access to the Lumine Hall...... Lumine Hall: This dungeon isnt very long if you follow my directions. From the entrance, cling to the upper part of the wall that the entrance is on, and follow it until you get to a hole tucked away in a cul-de-sac. Go down that hole and in this room, follow the cave to the very end, climb up on the ladder there, then go left ignoring the other holes, and you should be at the shining spot. Check it out and the Elctro Specter will attack. After he is dead follow the path that the shining spot was blocking and jump into the hole. Head along this cave with the cool visual effects, when you get near the end, you'll receieve some disturbing info on the state of Ness's mind. After your sunstone records the melody of Lumine Hall. Follow the apth to the left still and jump into the hole at the end to end up in the Lost Underworld...... Lost Underworld: Ness:AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! *SPLAT* UGGHHH!!! Paula:*URK* I am gonna hurl! Ness:I.....am....okay! I think. Paula:*URK* *BLLLLAAAGGGGHHHH* Im not. Ness: Uhhhh...I am not either anymore. (Ignore that just a joke!) Anyway, when you get your stomach back, head up around the rocks (cliffs) and go left, you should see a big fenced in circle, go up to the gate here and you'll get access to the place and your Tendakraut will be stolen, go and talk to the stone in the upper right corner of this place, it will talk of shiny spots all of them you have visited in the game. He will tell you of a new place which is called "Fire Spring" it is southwest from here. After he is done talking, go and buy new weapons from a Tenda in this village. Then exit the fenced area, go left til you hit a wall, go down til you hit another wall, go right, go down and go to the far left, you should see a cave that is the Fire Spring cave...... Fire Spring: Walk left to th second passage you see enter it, enter the other passage in this room, go up the rope you see next to you, then enter the passage closest to you on this level, enter the other passage in this room, go up the rope you see next to you, then go left and go up the next rope you see, then enter the cave on this level, go past the first entrance you see here and enter the second passage thats on the far left wall. Go up the rope on this level, and then on the new levelgo up the last rope in the dungeon, and on the tope level go and check out the Shining Spot, you'll be attacked by Carbon Dog and DD (Diamond Dog). Once you've defeated them go thru the entrance the shining spot leaves, then walk up to the volcanoe, you'll recieve your last and final melody. With that final melody you'll automatically play all of them and you'll be sucked into a baby memory..... Baby Memory: You walk along a white scene slowly it leads up to your house your parents are inside cooing over you when you were a baby, you exhibit your first PSI powers. Suddenly, you are swept off to the magical realm of Magicant from which your mind created..... Magicant: You will meet a lot of people here poeple youve meet in your adventures enemies you have defeated, and people that have died. Talk to everyone here (you'll even see Belch from Saturn Valley). Your home is to the right of where you first end up at. Goto the shop and buy lots of Magic Pudding adn then talk to Tracy your sister so she will store some of it to use again later in the real world. (The shop is the first green building on the right). It also might be a good idea to buy veryone in your party an earth pendant and give it to Tracy. The atm is in the green building next to the shop. After youre done buying and storing stuff got ot the left and follow the path to another place with a hotel in a green building, Pokey Picky and some chicks are over talk to them all, also talk to the snowmen around. When you're done here head north and enter the building with the pointed roof talk to a person and they will tell you that they are flying emn they will help you as long as you don't lose your courage. They will die eventually anyway. (The cool thing is you can kill them all then check out their tombstones outside of thier house. It appears that Ness's mental condition is still detiorating.) Anyway, after youre done head right and start on your journey to the Sea of Eden. Go up then go right at the second path (however if you take the first path, youll see yourself in the real world and you'll get a Basbeall Cap. The Cap is useless however.) Then just follow the path you are on to a strange statue at the very end that looks like a curly Q. Check it out and you'll be transported to the Sea of Eden.... Sea of Eden: You'll be attacked by Krakens on the way up to confront your dark side. Fronm the start go to the right, go up and then go to the left you should see your dark side which looks exactly like the Mani Mani Statue. Go up and talk to it and the Battle of 2 minds will begin, beat the Nightmare. After you have beaten him, you'll hear the good side of you talkin to you telling you must go to Saturn Valley. After this Ness absorbs the power of Magicant and all of the Earth. He powers up from the energy of all the places he has visited, then he wakes up back up at the Fire Spring.... Fire Spring: You explain to your partymembers that you need to telport back to Saturn Valley. Your adventure is coming to a close..... Saturn Valley: Here talk to Dr. Andonuts. He will explain that you need to go back to Onett to get some Zexonyte from the meteor that crashed in Onett. After the test of the Phase Distorter fails. So teleport back to Onett. Onett: Head back up to the meteor site. Check out the meteor and get a piece of it. (You might want to visit home now.) Now head back to Saturn Valley..... Saturn Valley: Now might be a good time to equip everyone with the Earth Pendants you got back in Magicant. Now talk to Dr. Andonuts and he will fix it. Now go take a rest at the Inn. In the morning Talk to Dr. Andonuts again and head inside of the machine..... Lost Underworld Cave: It seems that the Phase Distorter 2 blew a fuse and left you in the Lost underworld cave you'll have to wait for Dr. Andonuts to show up. In the meantime check out the broken Phase Distorter next to Mr. Saturn. You'll get a Horn Of Life. When the Dr. does finally show up talk to him until he tells you that you must be converted into robots for you to be able to challenge Gigyas in the past. Say Yes to his question and you'll be in the Phase Distorter 3 and you'll take off to the Cave Of The Past........ Cave Of The Past: Follow the path and check out the spheres to be transported to another part of the path. Go inside the opening at the end and clmb up all the way to meet Gigyas and Pokey. Beat them and its time for the ending.... End: There isn't much to do her exept to follow the story it might be a good idea to go everywhere and talk to everyone youve meet before in your adventure. They'll say different things like: The stone in the Lost Underworld doesn't talk at all anymore, Frank In Onett has become serious, Carpainter has gotten all of his marbles back together, and some of your friends such as Poo will welcome you when you come to his castle. Go home to your mom when you want to see the credits, wait after the credits to find out where Pokey has gone to. THATS IT FOR THE WALKTHROUGH. THE END. ============================================================================ G L I T C H E S T I P S & T R I C K S E T C . ============================================================================ 1. MAGIC BUTTERFLY-If you are lucky you wil come across a butterfly from time to time. Catch the butterlfy and you will receive a lift of 20 PP. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. POSE-Right when you exit your house and start to walk along the path a fanfare breaks out and a photographer will drop from the sky. He will take your picture and then fly away again. He will drop from the sky when you reach a certain place in your adventure. He is keeping a photo album of your adventure. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. CHECK THE TRASH CANS-It may seem disgusting but if you do Check the Trash cans you will sometimes get something useful from it. If you find food eat it anyway. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4. VICTORIOUS!-If you are stronger than an enemy you encounter you will automatically win the battleright, before it starts. In other words if you outclass an enemy you get into a fight with, the screen will flash and you will be credited with the win and you'll be given all the Exp Points and Gifts (if any). ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5. REFORMED-Sometimes if you go to an enemy that you have defeated, such as Mr. Frank in Onett, They will give you a recharge of your powers. HP & PP. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6. PATIENCE-There are many puzzles in Earthbound that require patience such as the Belch Base password. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7. RAISE CHICKENS-You cn get a lotta money if you buy a Fresh Egg and keep it until it hatches into a chick, and until it finally matures into a chicken, when it does mature. Sell it for $110. It takes 50 seconds for a Fresh Egg to mature into a Chick and 1 minute for a chick to mature into a Chicken. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 8. HOMESICK REMEDY-With the above trick if you are homesick and you have a chick in Ness's inventory use it it will make Ness happy and he might forget about his being homesick. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 9. SOUND STONE-The Shining Spots will only open if Ness is present with the Sound Stone. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10. MAGIC BUTTERFLIES 2-You can exit an area where you found a magic butterfly and enter again and then chase down the butterfly again you can keep on doing this. To restore memebers to thier peak condition. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 11. EXPLODE-Wacth out! If you find certain enemies (Such as the Smilin' Sphere, The Uncontrollable Sphere, etc.) in the presence of other enemies they will explode and cause a great deal of suffering. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 12. EXIT MOUSE-This mouse will let bring you right back to the entrance of a cave, or maze. This can be helpful when you are near death. Or when you are lost. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 13. THE TRUTH BEHIND MOONSIDE-Moonside is an exact representation of Fourside except that everything is backward. Including the order of buildings. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 14. CAVEMAN-Dr. Andonuts caveman friend keeps a shop always buy supplies from him. Before heading out into the Stonehenge Base, or to the Rainy Circle. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 15. STOW YOUR STUFF-Call Escargo Express right before you leave to go to Deep Darkness so you can store stuff you don't need you won't be able to call them for a while. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 16. THOUGHTFUL DUNGEON MAN-Brick Road has put in a hospital some ATMs and some benches so you can wake up with all of your PP renewed. He is sure is responsible. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17. TEACH TELEPORTATION-Teach telepoprtation to the monkey in Deep Darkness he will give you an item called "Monkey's Love" which summons a monkey to help the party for one round. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18. GOOD GEYSER-There are 2 types of geysers in the Lost Underworld which will help you if you atand on them and wait for them to erupt water. The Blue Geyser refills everyone's HP and PP. The Pink one cures ailments. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19. EVASIVE MANUVERS-When you enter a room from a door and there are too many enemies. Exit the room and then enter the room again by way of the door there may be less or no enemies there now. If there isn't just repeat this process until there is less. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20. MARVELS OF MAGICANT-Inside of your world you will meet many enemies you have destroyed and many people you have meet along your adventure. Talk to them all. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21. ANOTHER MARVEL OF MAGICANT-When you talk to someone in Magicant the background color will change. After youre done talking to them. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22. MAGIC PUDDING-Store Magic Pudding in Escargo Express so you'll have some of it to use when youre back in the real world. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 23. ROCK CANDY-One of the most important things in the game. Buy lots of Sugar until you have one row left over at the bottom of your inventory. Make sure you have some Rock Candy as well. Then once you have the Rock Candy and all the Sugar Packets rearrange the stuff in your backpack by selecting the Rock Candy and then select Give and in the next window that appears find the character who has the Rock Candy now and give it back to them so that its at the bottom of their list of stuff. Then when in battle tell all of the other members of your team to defend and use the Rock Candy it will raise one attributes of yours by 2. And it will still be there when its your turn next. Repeat the process of Defend-Eat until all of the Sugar Packets are gone. Then buy more Sugar Packets and go thru the process from the beggining to the end again. An easy way to raise stats effortlessly.....hint...hint. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 24. SATURN VALLEY SELLER-The Saturn Valley shop will have new items to sell when you are ready to go back into the past to meet Gigyas. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 25. GIFTS FOR POO-In the Underworld Cave when you come there in the Phase Distorter the Star Monk will show up to give Poo PSI Starstorm Omega Level. This power can work wonders on the enemies that lie ahead in the Cave of The Past. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 26. BUILD EXP-To build expierence levels really wuick defeat Foppies which are found in the Belch Base or defeat Fobbies which are in Lumine Hall. You can also go to Dusty Dunes Desert and kill a couple of Criminal Caterpillars (10,000 exp each). The only problem is Criminal Caterpillars are rare. There is also a very rare red Caterpillar in the Scaraba Desert which you could fight for a LOT of expierence (This caterpillars called the Master Criminal Worm.) You get about 20,500 exp points each for each Master Criminal Worm you defeat. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 27. DEATH GLITCH-I got this glitch one time while defeating Starman DX. We killed each other at the same exact time. He gave me mortal damage and I launched a Multi-Bottle Rocket at him. It killed him but my HP ran out right when he disappeared. When I got out of the battle. Everyone in my party looked like an angel (you know what you look like when you die and you see a spirit faollowing you around where that guy used to be) Then I got the normal game over sequence the one where the guy is talking about how you got your head handed to you but the screen was entirely scrambled. This is just a plain luck glitch. Don't think you can do this when you want to. Because you can't its just luck that this happens to you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 28. COP GLITCH-All you need to do to get this one is to come out of the Giant Step cave after you've beaten Titanic Ant and a Police Officer will approach you ask you something then take off out of the shack when he does come out of the shack. Try to go down as far as you can from where you are. He will disappear as he is running down the screen. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 29. NUMERICAL ORDER-This may be stupid but notice the first 4 towns have the number one, two, three, and four in thier names such as...ONEtt, TWOson, THREEd, and FOURside. Also check out the names of seasons in this game such as...WINTERs, and SUMMERs. Also there are different types of climate in certain towns in this game such as Dusty Dunes Desert which is a desert, Dalaam which is a mountainous area, Scaraba which is another desert, Deep Darkness which is a swamp. Strange huh?! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 30. WHADDYA SAY??-Sometimes in the game if Ness is homesick or if someone important in your party has died. A character may say something different such as the boatsman that takes you to Scaraba will say if Ness is homesick at the time you are sailing with him: "Whats the matter you look kinda sad, why don't you call home!" Paula's dad will say this if Pauala is dead when you return to her Preschool after rescueing her and you go into the room with the table: "Hmmmm. It just felt as if Paula entered here." When you call your Dad when youre in the Cave of The Past, when you're in Dalaam as Poo, or when you are in Moonside he will say something different from the usual. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 31. PORTAL-Right after you enter moonside turn right around and hit the command "Check" to see absolutely nothing happen, no message comes up from the entry. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 32. MOONSIDE MAYHEM-Talk to some of the people in Moonside and they will say really strange things like:"Well...co..me..to....Moo...Moo..nsi..nsi ...nsi...de." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 33. PRIVACY-Pound on some locked doors to houses and you'll hear rather humuorous responses from its inhabitants. Also try checking out some things like the bear in Monotli's office you'll might get a dialogue. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 34. SUBMARINE ANTICS-Right after you come out the submarine when you enter Deep Darkness go all the way down right after you exit. Until you hit some small bushes then turn around and cast Teleport Alpha. The yellow submarine will move up on the screen. It will not stay stationary. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 35. NINTENDO GOT LAZY!!-Why are there 2 different versions of the Struttin' Evil Mushroom in this game and they both have the same name?? They just have different stats. The first Struttin' Evil Mushroom is found in the Pond Cave when you are just Jeff traveling through. The other one is in the Milky Well. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 36. MULTI-BOTTLE ROCKET: Buy a Multi-Bottle Rocket and put it in Paula's inventory. And try to use it when it is in her inventory th game will say: "Paula was not able to use the Broken Air Gun very well." Looks like they have a programming snitch. Also have Ness use the Yogurt Dispenser to get another glitch message. Seems that Nintendo didn't care about these minor programming nitches. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 37. SKIPPIN': Use a Skip Sandiwch while in the Cult Office in the room with all those people swaying it may not work. ============================================================================ T H E C H A R A C T E R S ============================================================================ 1. NESS: An everyday kid living in the small town of Onett. Oneday a meteor lands and and everything changes. An alien believes him to be a very special very human--one with power to effect cosmic events. Ness has a good balance of speed, IQ, Offense, and Mysterious Psychic powers. His PSI powers include healing which he can use on himself and his friends. His preferred weapon is a baseball bat, and he loves to wear baseball caps with his Favorite team logo on the front. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 2. PAULA: The first friend that Ness meets on his adventure, she comes out of Twoson where her mother runs a preschool out of her family's home. All the kids in the preschool love her! She does look like your average sweetie pie she has powerful psychic abilities, newspapers have often reported on them. Her PSI abilities are great for offensive attacks. She prefers a Frying Pan for a Weapon. Her girlish charm also acts as some type of Defense against attacks. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 3. JEFF: He is the Genius of the tem. He can fix and use some items that toher members of his team have no clue how to. He lives in Winters his Dad his a famous scientist, Jeff's own scientific knowledge is huge. Winters is an inland country so meeting up with the group is a very hard task. Jeff has no PSI abilities but his skill in mechanics make up for it. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 4. POO: He is a prince in a far eastern country called Dalaam that is most mysterious to most people living in Eagleland. A little older than Ness and possesing great psychic powers. He seems to be very popular with girls as well. He commands Starstorm which he can only use. His armor and weapons are mostly unknown because of his mysterious origin. Now only if he could get used to a little western food..... ============================================================================ C O N T R O L F U N C T I O N S ============================================================================ CONTROL PAD: The control pad is used to move the lead character around on the screen. Where the lead character moves others will follow. It is also used to move a cursor through a list of actions you can take, options presented to you or items being held. ----- L Button: The "action" button. It can be used to "Check" your sorroundings or to "Talk" to someone. ----- R Button: Has only 1 function in the netire game oress the R button while riding a bicycle to ring the bell. ----- X Button: Press this button to view the town Map. Press again to exit. ----- A Button: Used to register a selection that you have made from a list of options or items. Also use to open the command window. ---- B Button: Used to cancel a selection and return to the previous menu. While moving on the main screen, pressing B views your HP and PP as well as much Cash you have left. Press B again to clear the HP, PP, and Cash window. ---- Select Button: Use this in place of the B Button. ---- One Handed Use: It is possible to use the controller with your left hand, press L to talk to some one or to check something out, press Select to use it like you would the B button. One Handed use isnt a button. ============================================================================ S T A R T I N G A G A M E ============================================================================ STEP#1: Once you have turned the power on. You will see the title screen and game demonstrations, at anytime you may press Start Button, A, or the B button to progress to the Game File Screen. STEP#2: After the demo screen, the game file screen 3 seperate files, your progress is stored in the game file you select, the first tim the game pak is played all files are titled "Start New Game" Selecting one of the 3 files opens up the next window. If you are continuing a previous game select the proper file and a window opens allowing you to: continue your game, copy the file to another file, delete the file or change the file set up. Once the game file has been selected the Text Speed window opens it allows you to change the speed of the text onscreen. The speed can be changed at anytime by opening it and selecting "Set Up". After that a Sound Setting window opens you may select either Stereo or Mono sound, again this can be changed with the method described above. After the Sound selection screen the game will sak you what color of window borders do you want. After you select the one you want you go to a screen to name your allies. And the game will start after this. Talk To-When a person is next to you, select "Talk to" in order to talk to the person, also when facing telephones selecting "Talk to" will pick up the reciever. PSI-Selecting PSI gives you a chance to use your Assisting PSI powers if you havent realized any Assisting PSI Powers or if no one is present that can use PSI Powers, this command will be gone. Check-This command allows you to check the sorrounding area. It is espiecally useful when you find a gift box, chest, or coffin. By checking these containers you will gain lots of useful items. You can also use Check to use an ATM. Goods-This command allows you to look at all of your current items. Press left and right to cycle thru the members. You can then select items and Use, Give, Drop, or get Help about them. Equip-This command is very important it allows you to equip stronger items on your party members and yourself, this command allows you to change what is being worn or used. Status-This command allows you to view the health and attributes of your members, there are a number of categories displayed on the status screen. Pressing Left and Right lets you view all of your members stats. You can also view PSI Powers that a Character has by pressing the A button. Press the B button to exit. ============================================================================ P E R S O N A L R A T I N G S ============================================================================ This section tells you the many different categories of the Status window and what they do and where they are located... Level: In the upper left corner of the window, tells you waht level youre currently at. Condition: Directly below the Level category, if you are ailing somehow it is indicated here. Hit Points: 2 lines below the condition category and somewhat in the middle of the window, displays your Maximum HP level as well as your current HP level. Psychic Points: Below the Hit Points category, displays your Maximum PP level as well as your current PP level. Experience Points: Below the Psychic Points category, tells the number of Experience points currently earned. Next Level: Below the Experience Points category, tells you how many more Experience points are needed for the next level. Offense: In the Upper Right corner, displays your offensive power with the currently equiped weapon. Defense: Below the Offense category on the far right, displays your Defensive power using the currently equipped item. Speed: Below the Defense category on the far right, displays your current Speed level which is important in escaping battles. Guts: Below the Speed category on the far right, displays your current Guts Level, affecting your frequency of SMAAAASSSH attacks. Vitality: Below the Guts category on the far right, displays your currnet Vitality level this affects how fast your Max HP increases. IQ: Below the Vitality category on the far right displays your current IQ Level this affects how fast your max PP increases, with Jeff it affects which items he can fix. Luck: Below the IQ category on the far right displays your current Luck level it affects whether or not an attack on you misses. ============================================================================ F I G H T I N G G U I D E ============================================================================ 1. Monsters and citizens can be seen walking around on the Main Screen, to identify whether or not a human is under an Evil Influence their face will be blue if they are under Influence. Animals will often turn around from side to side repaetedly looking for someone to attack. 2. On the Main Game screen you will find enemies and others looking for a fight, they are very fast and difficult to avoid, try hiding behind a tree or ducking behind another object to avoid a battle. This may not work tho. 3. If you decide you want to attack, or youcan't avoid the enemy, a battle starts when you touch the enemy. Occasionally other nearby enemies will run up and join the fight even tho they were walking seperately. 4. Once you have encountered an enemy you will enter the Battle screen you attack the other side and theyattack you until one side has destroyed the other side. Complete loss of HP determines when one side is destroyed. 5. Once you cause all attacking enemies to lose all of thier HP a "You Won" message appears. When enemies are defeated they disappear while a person or animal becomes normal again. You gain expierence points for winning the battle. HEY! THE SWIRL IS A DIFFERNT COLOR. FAIR-If you touch an enemy from the front or side when you are facing forward or to the side, a swirl appears that is black. This indicates that neither side has any special advantage and the battle begins as normal, most battles will occur in this manner. YOUR SURPRISE-If youre lucky you'll be able to successfully approach an enemy from behind and force a battle before the enemy has a chance to turn around in this case the swirl wilbe green, and you and your allies will have a free chance to attack before the regular battle begins. ENEMY SURPRISE-If an enemy approaches you and attacks from the behind, the swirl in the preceding battle will be red in this case the enemy will get a free opening attack. It is very important to avoid this attack whenever possible especially when the enemies begin to get very strong. ============================================================================ B A T T L E S C R E E N \ C O M M A N D W I N D O W ============================================================================ Command Window The Battle Command Window is different for each character. Use the Control Pad to move a cursor to a desired action press the A button. Move the cursor to the target of attack (if there is more than 2 monsters) and press that A buton to select it. To cancel a selected action press the B button. ----- Ness (The Leader & Hero) Ness has a number of actions to choose from as the leader of the group. He is offensively well balanced, with strong physical as well as psychic attacks. Be sure to equip the strongest weapon (bat) possible. For him. --- Ness's Commands-(Some of these commands can be used by other members. I won't mention the ones that are usable by others a second time underneath them. I will only mention the commands that are unique to them.) Bash-deals deamage to the enemy by using Ness's currently equiped weapon. (Other friends can use this command). Goods-Allows you to select an item and use it on the enemy or yourselves. (Other friends can use this command). Auto Fight-This option lets you sit back and watch the fights outcome. It effectively fights the fight for you. (this option can be used by others if Ness is not present or if he is knocked unconsious). PSI-Allows you to select a PSI attack, recover or assist spell. (All of the other friends can use this option except for Jeff). Defend-Places you in a defensive position which cuts damage in half. (All of the other friends can use this.) Run Away-This is your shot at running away from a battle, sometimes you succeed sometimes you don't. (As the Auto Fight option this can be used by other members if Ness is not Present or Knocked unconcious. ----- Paula (First Friend & average Sweetie Pie) Her commands are the same to Ness's commands except that she has the Pray Command. --- Paula's Commands- Pray-This is very mysterious and effects can vary widely. Though it can be helpful it can also be harmful. (Check out Praying Ring Section for info.) ----- Jeff (Second Friend & Genius) Jeff cant use PSI but he makes up for it with being able to repair items that can help out the group from broken items and things. Jeff is important to the success of the group. --- Jeff's Commands- Spy-A very special command tha lefts Jeff size up the enemy and report all weaknesses back to you. ----- Poo (Third Friend & Prince of the East) He is a Eastern Prince who has been trained in ancient martial arts. This makes him a powerful fighter and a big bonus when he finally joins the group he has an enormous wealth of PSI knowledge as well. --- Poo's Commands- Mirror-This command allows Poo to effectively become the enemy. The effect is temporary. ============================================================================ F E W T H I N G S T O R E M E M B E R ============================================================================ Phones-It is always a good idea to call your Dad to save your progress in the game. In the game Black phones are free while green phones cost a buck. ATMS-Your bank account holds your hard earned cash, use an ATM to withdraw or Deposit money. Find an ATM at a Drug Store, Hotel, or a Department Store. Withdraw your money and buy those expensive items you have been drooling over. Catching a Cold-A cold is one of the many ailments in the game. Sometimes you can purchase some type of treatment from a Drug Store to avoid going to the hospital. Or you could use the PSI Power Heal. Delivery Services-Escargo Express is the local delivery company and your sister Tracy works part time for them. You can call them up to store 3 things that you cant get rid of and that you dont need, you can also have them deliver 3 things. Hint Stand-One of the biggest helps in the game, in every town there is one of these. You pay him some money and he'll give you a hint. It may not always be cheap though. If Ness is Homesick-Even a hero can get homesick. After all, this is the longest way you have ever been from home! Travel Charm: The cliff right after the northern bridge, the Travel Charm is there. 2. Luck Capsule: Right after you get off the cliff with the Travel Charm on it, you have 2 choices on which way to exit go onto lower land, or go right and go onto a bigger cliff. Go onto the bigger cliff and then head down to find the Luck Capsule. 3. Croissant: Go down and to the left on the piece of land with the 2 cliffs I just mentioned. The Travel Charm is down at the bottom of here and a little to the left. 4. Bomb: Head right from where you got the Croissant, all the way to the right here, you'll stumble upon the Bomb here. 5. Cup of Lifenoodles: Right after you cross the second bridge, go north then go down the cliff to your right ignoring all other openings til you see this item. 6. Hard Hat: Right after the Cup of Lifenoodles go back up the cliff and head left along the path to your left and continue til you hit this item ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items in Cult Office: 1. & 2.: Get these 2 items after you beat Carpainter it will be much easier then. #1 is a Croissant, #2 is a Skip Sandwich. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items in the Lilliput Cave: 1. Great Charm: Get this by gong right from the entracne until you see a wall in your path then go down and then left, and go all the way around the lake and down until you hit the Great Charm. 2. Croissant: Get back on the cliff you were just on in #1. Then go right past the wall, and the path going down, you hit the Croissant. In a cul-de-sac. 3. PSI Caramel: From the Shining Spot go left until you hit the PSI Caramel. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items in Threed: 1. Teddy Bear: In the very upper right hand corner of the town next to the hint house. 2. Skip Sandwich: Go to the lower right corner of town, and look around the brown house, you'll find a trash can check it for a Skip Sandwich. 3. Holmes Hat: In the Locker room, use the Bad Key machine on the locker to the far left on the first row (the Row of 4 lockers.) 2. Bread Roll: This item can be found by going straight to the left when you first enter until you see this item. 2. Broken Iron: From the entrancer go into the lowest opening into the maze. Follow the way here until you have 2 choices of where to go. Go to the right way and follow that path to the Broken Iron. 3. Croissant: From the entracne enter the SOUTH opening into the maze. Follow that path til you have 2 choices of where to go go left this time, then go up, go to the left again and go down ignoring the billboard, go into the opening on the left side, go up, go left around the wall and go down, go to the right you should now see the Croissant. 4. Insecticide Spary: From the entrance go into the_ 2ND_opening and follow the path to this item. 5. Stun Gun: Listen CAREFULLY. From the entrance enter the south opening into the maze and follow the path until you see a Fork go left here. Go up a pathway leading to a billboard, but ignore the billboard and go down the next path on the other side, enter the opening to the left. Go up and follow the path next to the billboard, go into the opening right at the end of this path, and go down the Stun Gun is there. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items in Pond Cave: 1. Hamburger: This is easy, in the first room, follow the path to the left the hamburger is at the end. 2. Cheap Bracelet: In the 2nd room, go up the cliff on the far right, once you get to the top you should see the Cheap Bracelet. 3. Skip Sandwich DX: Located in a coffin aftr a room with 2 stairways. 2. Silver Bracelet: Located in a another coffin after a room with 1 stairway. This is also after the room with the Skip Sandwich DX. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items in Grapefruit Falls Pathway: 1. & 2.: #1 is a bomb, #2 is a protien drink to find these 2 just walk along the lake until you see them. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items in Saturn Valley: 1., 2., & 3.: 1 is a protractor, #2 is a Broken Spray Can, and #3 is a Sudden Guts Pill. To find these ewnter the cave towards the north of the village this cave is on the ground not on a cliff, and it doesn't have a 4., 5., & 6: Get these from Mr. Saturn in the cave leading to the department store after you defeat Belch. #4 is a Mr. Saturn Coin, #5, is a Cup of Lifenoodles, and #6 is a Stag Beetle. 7. Rust Promoter: This one is on a ladder to the upper right corner of the first ground level. 8. Bottle Rocket: This one is in a cave right before Saturn Valley. It is in the first room of the cave. Halfway thru the 1st room, you should see a another cave opening. Enter it the item is there. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items in the Belch Base: 1. Bomb: From the entrance go right until you see a door, enter that door the bomb is in this room. 2., & 3: After you go down the ladder to the place where the Foppies hang out. Go left and then go down the next ladder you see, then head right and enter the door. The 2 items: The IQ capsule, and the Broken Laser are there. 4., 5., & 6.: From #3, exit this room, go up the ladder and go left until you see another ladder, go up that ladder, and enter the room here. The 3 items: The Cital Cpasule, HP Sucker, and a Calorie Stick are here. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items in Milky Well: 1. Coin of Slumber: In the room with the Shining Spot the Coin of Slumber is here next to the entrance into this room. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items in the Dusty Dunes Desert: 1., 2., 3., 4., 5.: To find these items, head around the very edge of the desert, the edge being along the western rocks and follow the edge of the desert all the way around, you stumble upon these items along your way. 6.: This one is tricky, look for a cove of sand carved out by a line of cactuses around some rocks, line yourself up with the 6th cactus from the right in the line and head up until you come to an oasis and your item. That too hard to understand?? Try this then: Near the road, there is a sign that says "desert" and if you go up you'll hit a long line of rocks but you should notice that there is a lone rock right next to you here. So go around this time to the ohter side of therocks and look for that one stone that I mentioned (you'll be in the "cove of sand" when you find it) when you find the lone stone head up to the oasis and again to your item. 7. MONEY!!: To find this large sum of money, find that desert sign along the road, that I mentioned before and walk up you'll see a box with a lotta cash inside!! 8. Contact Lens: Right at the #3 item. Stand right next to the box it was in, and walkd down adn to the right at a 20 degree angle you should find a sparkle in the sand check it out and you'll find the Contact Lens trade it toa guy in fourside on the 2nd floor of the bakery. 9. Big Bottle Rocket: Go right from the cove of sand until you find this item. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items in Fourside: 1. Dirty Socks: you need the Contacts lens from the Dusty Dunes Desert, go to the Bakery and head up to the 2nd floor, talk to the man then use the Contact Lens when you are next to him. He will give the Dirty Socks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items in the Desert Gold Mine: 1. IQ Capsule: From the entrance go up ignoring all other paths, and go down the rope ladder you see. In the is room go left, and encounter the mole that is waiting after he is gone. Get the item in the room where the mole appeared. 2. Big Bottle Rocket: From the entrance Go up, left, down, left, up, and left. The item should be in front of you. 3. Coin Of Defense: From #2 go up ignoring all other passages, and go down the rope ladder at the end and go up to the rom where the mole is waiting after he is gone open up the present in the room where he was. 4. Calorie Book: From #3 go left, up left, and down. (You're going around a wall.) The Calorie Book is right here. 5. Teddy Bear: From #4 go up and the go left to the end of this corridor, and go up the rope ladder there. Go down in the new room, and go right at the first passage you see. The Teddy Bear is right here. 6. Super Bomb: From #5 go left and down, when you get to a fork in the path take the left path, and go down, you should see a rope ladder, go down it, you'll be in anew room with the Super Bomb. 7. PSI Caramel: From #6 go up the rope ladder, in the new room go left, until you encounter another mole. After he is gone collect the PSI Caramel that ws behind him. 8. Croissant: From # 7 go right, then up, then take the right fork this time. Open up the lower present here. 9. Picnic Lunch: Right next to #7. 10. Bomb: From #7 go down until you see this item. 11. Platinum Band: From # 10 go dwon and go left until you encounter yet another mole. When he is gone. Open up the present in the upper left. 12. Luck Capsule: Right next to #11. In the lower left corner. 13. Secret Herb: From #11 and #12, go right and go up and go right at the 2nd passage you see. The Secret Herb is right there. 14. Guts Capsule: From #13 go left and then go up you'll encounter another mole. ARRRGGGHHH! Whats with these ^$&# moles. After he is gone. Protien Drink: From the Cafe go around the building that isa on the other side of the street. The item is around back of that building. 2. Double Burger: From the cafe, Follow the Street to the right. Follow the stret until you are next to the hospital, go up the right side of the hospital to find this item. 3. Night Pendant: From the cafe follow th street to the right until you are in front of the hotel. Talk to the man in also front of it and you'll be warped to this item. 4. Fire Pendant: From the start, head into the left hole, go into the right hole in the next monkey room. go into the right hole again in the next monkey room. 3. Broken Tube: From #2, go back to the previoyus room then head into the left hole. The Brkoen Tube is here. 4. Bag of Dragonite: From the start take the right hole in the monkey room, In the next monkey room take the left, in the next monkey room take the left the monkey in this room will give you the Bag of Dragonite. 5. & 6.: From #4, go back into the monkey room, and go to the right this time head thru the cave, use the Pencil Eraser in the next room, and you'll be in Talah Rama's room. The item is loacted in the upper right hand corner of the house. 6., & 7.: These items are in the restaurant located in the house with the billboard in front of it. These items are, #1 is a Bowl of Rice Gruel. #2 is a Bottel of Water. Croissant: From the entrance head left into a new room, the Croissant is there. 2. Broken Iron: From the entrance go right until you hit a door, enter it a Broken Iron is there. 3. Broken Spray Can: From the entrance go to the left and go down the ladder and eneter the muck, walk all the way to the right until you see another ladder go up it and go to the left, you'll eventually see another door next to some barrels, enter that door the Broken Spray Can is there. 4. Rust Promoter DX: In the Second room, go down the ladder enter the muck go all the way to the right until you see a Trash Can next to some barrels. Check out the trash to get the Rust Promoter DX. 5. Sudden Guts Pill: From the entrance head up the ropes, then go left and fall into the hole, the Sudden Guts Pill is in this room. 2. Bracer of Kings: From #2 fall down the hole in this room, then fall down in the one right next to you now. Viper: From the entrance go right until you see this item. 2. Pharaoh's Curse: From #1 go right until you reach the Coffin, then go up into the next room and head left until you reach the Pharaoh's Curse. 3., and 4.: From the Coffin room. Diamond Band: From #5 head left after stepping on the tile, go all the way back to the coffin room, jump down the hole in the center, get teh Hawk eye here, go right to the room with a hole in it the Diamond Band is here. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items in Dungeon Man: 1. Molokyheiya Soup: From the entrance go up and then go right, go up the cliff taht is connected to the ground, the first item is there. 2. Cup of Lifenoodles: From 31 go left following the path on the cliff to your next item. 3. $5: From the entrance go up right go up and left ignoring the cliff, go up left, then down then left,your item should be right next to a path leading to a cliff. 4. Snake: From #3, go up the cliff here, then go right. 5. Super Plush Bear: From #4, go left and then continue up the cliff, following it until you hit this item. 6. Talisman Ribbon: you can't get this until you enter here again when you need the Yellow submarine, anyway from where you land go to the right the ribbon is there. 7. $10: Go back to where you got the #3 item. Then go left around the cliff and go up to 4 ropes, climb up the 3rd one from the left, in this new room, follow the path and go left when it forks, go up ignoring the other passage, and then go to the left, the 10 smackers are here. 8. Pizza: From #7 go right all the way to the far right wall, go down, go left (your going around the entire cliff here), go up and then go left and go up the rope on the wall here, then go down and to the right to claim your prize. 9. PSI Caramel: From #8 go left and go up, ignore the rope here, and go left and up to get this present. 10. Sudden Guts Pill: you've seen this item here a dozen times before, anyway go down from #9 and you'll see it (if you haven't already). 11. Wet Towel: From #9 go down and to the right to see a rope ladder go up it, in this new room go right, and go down ignoring the opening onto a higher cliff, and keep on going down until you hit a wall then go left your item is there. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items in Deep Darkness: 1. Banana: From the sub go down then go right and then go down, and continue to go down past the Arms Dealer to the present. 2. Beef Jerky: From #1, go down til you hit some trees, then go left, then go up and continue to go up and little to the left until you see your item. 3. IQ Capsule: From #2 go to the left and then go down. Your item is next to the bird. 4. Cup Of Lifenoodles: Go back to where you got item #2. Go south, then go left and then up you should see a broken down helicopter, go a little bit up from here you should see teh Cup of Lifenoodles. 5. Souvenir Coin: From #3 go to the far left of Deep Darkness, the Souvenir coin is concealed behind some tress go around them and pick it up. 6. Rock Candy: From 35 go up and then go to the left, then go up again, and keep on going up til you hit some dirt go up a little more from here and you'll see your item. MAGIC TRUFFLES: You need a piggy nose to find these but I'll mention where they are anyway. #1: Go down from the submarine, go to the right, and go around these trees you should see southeren tree that is a little bit away from the cluster. Search around that tree using the Piggy Nose you'll find a Magic Truffle. #2: From #1 go to the right and look for a tree thats on dirt that is right next to the swamp search around there and you should find the Magic Truffle. #3: From the 2nd giftbox (The giftbox with the Beef Jerky in it.) Head to the left unti you are in the middle of 2 bushes when in the middle of these 2 go straight up and search using the Piggy Nose. #4: From the 5th giftbox go down and then go right when youre in a deep swamp go to the upper left corner of the cluster of trees and search. Or, from #5 go down, and go right until you are just about to hit a swamp. Go up to hit the cluster of trees, and count the number of the trees as you walk by to the right once you get to #3 stop and search using the Piggy Nose. #5: From the entrance to the Tenda Village go down off of the grass until you hit dir then walk straight to the right go around the trees if you have to in fact keep close to the northern cluster of trees as possible when you get to an alcove (or cul-de-sac) facing you search with the Piggy Nose. Remember the cul-de-sac is in the northern cluster of trees. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items in Tenda Village: 1. Death Ray: From the entrance go down until you see a trash can, check it out and you'll find the Death Ray. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items in Stonehenge Base: 1. Spicy Jerky: From the entrance go down the ladder and into the next room in this room follow the path to the next (clearing the statue on your way). In the new room, go left and go down and take the southern path, at the square intersection, and follow this path to the next room. In this room follow the path until you hit another square intersection this time go up you'll see the Spicy Jerky. 2. Cup Of Lifenoodles: From #1, go down and go to the right to head on the next path follow it to the next room, in the new room at the square intersection take the right path and follow it to this item. 3. Guts Capsule: From #2, follow this path back down to the square intersection, and take the souterhn path follow this path to the door. In the new room follow th path until you hit a square intersection, go into the upper path and follow it to this item. 4. Broken Harmonica: From #3 take the path back to the sqaure intersection and this time take the path to thr gith and follow it tothe next room. In the new room, head to the far right from the entrance to find this item. 5. PSI Caramel: From #4 go all the way to the left back to the entrance, then go down the ladder thats nearby on this level,go right you should see this item. 6. Broken Trumpet: From #5, go to the right some more and at the end take the long ladder down,go down the next ladder, and go to the right and thru the door to end upinthe Exit Mice room, exit this room to the right to end up in a new room, in this room go right ignoring the first path to the north and take the second path and the far right of this room this item is there. 7. Pixie's Bracelet: From #6, go back and take the first path that you ignored earlier, follow it ignoring the first path going off of it, when you get to an intersection, go down and to the left, this item is here. 8. Speed Capsule: From #7, go up to tend up back at the beggining of the intersection, then this time go right and up. This item is there. 9. Mr. Saturn Ribbon: One of the Mr. Saturns being held captive will give you this after you defeat the Starman DX. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items in Lumine Hall: 1. Luck Capsule: From the entrance, the one after the room with the stone. Go up, left (ignoring the ladder going down), go up (ignoring the hole), folllow th rest of the path til you get into an open area, go down to the lower right corner and open the present there. 2. Rock Candy: From #1, go to the left, go down the ladder there into a new room, in this room follow the path until you see an alcove, this item is there. 3. Bottle of DX Water: From #2 get back on the path, and follow it ignoring the first ladder you see and going to the right your item is there. 4. Cup Of Lifenoodles: From #3 go back to the ladder you ignored earlier and go up it in this room go to the upper left and you'll find this item. 5. Spicy Jerky: From #4, go drop into the hole that is next to you, in this room follow the path until you see this item. 6. Rabbits Foot: From #5, follow the path in this roomto the next ladder, go up it, in this room go down into the lower left hand crner your item is there. 7. Super Bomb: From #6, go down the ladder that is to the right of the ladder you recently climbed up. In this room follow this path all the way to the end, go upthe ladder at the end (this place look familiar??) In this room, follow the path until you get to an intersection take the left path and fall down the hole there, in this room, you are right next to this item once you fall down into the room. 8. IQ Capsule: From #7, follow the path to the end of this room and go up the ladder at the end, in this room go up then go to the left, take the left path at the intersection but DO NOT fall down the hole, instead go past it until you see a ladder go down it, in this room, go down all the way to the wall (ignoring the other ladder). Your item is at the right end of the lower wall. 9. Diadem of Kings: From #8 go up and go upthe ladder that you ignored earlier, in this room go to the far right to claim your item. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items in the Lost Underworld: 1. Brain Food Lunch: From the Tenda Village. head right then go down, youll see a fencedin shelter make note of that shelter. Go around the rocks to the left of the shelter and go up, this item is there. 2. Horn Of Life: Go back to the shelter I told you to make a note of, line yourself up with the shelter and head to the far right, until you hit this item. 3. Guts Capsule: From #2, you should see a lake near you go to the left side of it and walk up, dodge the rock in your way, and go up til you see this item. 4. Sea Pendant: from #3 go down and around the rocks on yur left side, and go around the river you should see to your left to, go up n the left side of the river, go around the river obstructing you from your prize. 5. Cloak Of Kings: From the Tenda Village go to the left follwing the rocks to the south, follow the rocks until you can get around them, go around them and follow them on th other side. Moon Beam Gun: From #2 go up thr rope next to the cave you came out of, go into the first cave you see n this next level. Go thru this room. Just go up the ropes on these next 2 levels until you reach another cave next to a volcanoe enter it, go straight to the left in this next room and enter the cave in your way, go up the rope next to you, and go to the right then go down the rope here. Your item is here. 4. Milky Well- Right near the Hot Spring in Saturn Valley The Trillonage sprout is tough if you don't want to learn this melody know come back here later and fight him when you're stronger (You can do this when you fight Shroom!). Fire, Freeze, and Hypnosis are the Trillonage's sprouts weaknesses. Use bottle rockets too. 4. Rainy Circle- Near Dr. Andonuts Lab in Winters you see it first when you are playing as Jeff but can't do anything because you don't have a sound stone in which to record the melodies. Freeze and flash and use Jeff's bombs and bottle rockets to make Shroom!! scatter his spores. 5. Magnet Hill- The pathway to it is in the musuem in Fourside after you Venus's autograph for Mr. Spoon he show it to you and you will go into open manhole cover it is better if you go in the sludge it is faster and it doesn't contain as many enemies. When you meet up with the Master, The Plague Rat Of Doom use fire, flash, and freeze against him. You will get the carrot key which opens the cave guarded by rabbits in Dalaam. 6. Pink Cloud- Use the carrot key to get inside of the cave that leads to the Pink Cloud in Dalaam. When you meet up with Thunder and Storm use every psi attack except Paralysis against them. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT HAVE THE FRANKLIN BADGE WITH YOU!!! DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT! (Use freeze against these two!) 7. Lumine Hole- This is below the big rock of the Tenda Tribe's cave you need to rescue Apple kid from winters to get the Overcoming Shyness book from him so the Tenda can open up the entrance for you. When you meet Electro Specter use the nueltralizer to kill his shield and then attack with Multi-bottle rockets. By the way WHAT IS WRONG WITH NESS!!? 8. Fire Spring- The last of all shining spots it is THE toughest you'll have to fight 2 forms in the ensueing battle all you need is to use in his 1st the nutralizer and then attack with freeze when he changes into his second form use the nutralizer again and use 2 of Jeff's Multi-Bottle Rockets to kill it.
