I've been known to take many forms...

Here are just a few...

Me in the Cathedral Basilica in St. Louis... This Cathedral holds the largest mosaic in the world, and not only is it gigantic, it's also amazingly beautiful and diverse. There are mosaics in a very old world Italian style, some resembling Byzantine artwork, and some very modern Spanish art style. The Basilica was the first Cathedral I ever set foot in, and I did so not too long after I first took on the 'job description' of Angel, so it was very awe inspiring. I couldn't even manage to take my own photographs... I had to rely on my good buddy Sean to assist me in my endeavor... This is one of my favorite pictures of myself... Ever seen a picture of someone listening to prayers before?

To the right is a picture of me perched on a stairwell
outside the Basilica... It was a great day to be
alive, albeit a little bright.

This is me, in full scuba gear, diving with my father. I can't actually remember which dive trip this was on. I'm pretty certain it wasn't one of our trips to Florida, so that leaves one of the freshwater springs in Illinois, or Mountain Home Arkansas... Scuba diving was one thing that was shared between my father and myself alone... No one else but us, and this was incredibly special to me. I haven't dived since losing my father, but one day, hopefully soon, I'll take to the water again. He would want it that way.

This is my dark side personified... Inspired by French legend and The Crow, I suited up in this manner on Halloween 2001 prior to going out and chasing all kinds of evil uglies through cemetaries, forests, and cornfields... Of course we succeeded, but not without the evenings normal confusions of realizing that we stepped outside of reality for the evening... I can't even begin to explain the arguments and discussions that followed this realization... Which I believe occured right after Sloth tackled a possessed guy near a rural railroad track... Just another day in the life of a superhero...

Here is a picture of the small of my back, complete with my celtic triskellion. It is a very ancient druidic symbol with great meaning in both the ancient celtic cultures and to me personally.

Here I am again, this time being the outdoor type. Actually I love the outdoors, but on this day I had only hours early awoken from a very very frigid night's sleep in my old van... Here I was getting ready to fling myself up a climbing wall, and what can I say, I was having fun.

Retreat?
