Pershing State Park...

What started out as a 14 mile backpacking trip turned into a rush out of the woods, fighting the rising water of Locust Creek. What did we learn from this trip? Never trust a weatherman, always make sure your tents water proofing is up to date, and bring extra flashlight batteries...hiking out of the woods at 4am is no fun!
