May 2002 up to know (Aug 2005) Information Technology Area at Movistar, working as Value added platform and Unix System Operator ( Ex Bellsouth Chile, Ex Telefónica Móviles )

 

November 2000 to May 2002 Value Added Platform Support Engineer at BellSouth Chile. This work includes supervising, monitoring, backing up UNIX machines, developing new products, supervising SS7 links and IS41 message transfer and in general terms the whole issues related with WIN Platforms such as: Wireless Prepaid Nortel, IVRs Nortel, Voice Mail Centigram , Short Message Service Center Logica Aldiscon, Smart mobile Access Nortel, Prepaid system Comverse. All before mentioned tasks mixed with administrative and troubleshooting work.

 

I also participated as counterpart in the installation of a BellSouth Second Wireless Prepaid Node with a Canadian (Nortel Networks and Anyware Group team of engineers). This work had place in the year 2001.

 

B&D Software Ltd.

September-October 2000 a small windows application to calculate statistical information from CDRs (Call Detail Records) files extracted from telecommunication equipments. I wrote the application in Borland C++ Builder 4.0.

 

Bregante Sistemas S.A.

October 1997 to August 2000, as hardware developer and quality control technician. Projects for a Retail Company, (product price laser scanner), Traffic lights (control units) also working as procedure documents writer.

 

Atecna Ltd.

1997 Automation & technology Atecna Ltd. working as quality control department manager technician, developing Tele command, telemetry, radio communications oriented projects (i.e. Dumb FSK modem design for transferring data between RF control units).
